After this last stay, I need to update my review. I spent 11 days in the ICU and the hospital. With…read morethe exception of one nurse who was OK and still acceptable, everyone else I had the privilege of receiving care from was exceptional! We were truly blown away by the level of care. This started with Ann in the ICU. Outstanding. In the ICU a nurse is assigned to you. Usually one nurse per patient. When you get transferred to a different room outside of the ICU that one to one ratio changes. Still the care we received from nurses Barb. Cheryl and Leah were just exceptional. I know I am missing names and some nurses and aids names we didn't get. This care really left an impact on me. For example getting out of bed after a week to walk. For anyone that has been in the hospital for any length of time, you know how your body somehow forgets how to walk. There were a couple of young nurses that were helping me. Both about a third of my size but they both stood firm and had braced themselves to help me if I had needed their assistance. A lot of these nurses had different nationalities and we enjoyed hearing their stories and again so thankful for their care!
