My son and I were scheduled to be on their direct flight from Oaxaca City to Huatulco on June 4th and we received correspondence from the airline at 5:30pm the day before (after all their managers had gone home) saying our non-stop flight from Oaxaca to Huatulco had been changed to fly an hour earlier and make a stop in Escondido because of "airport operational issues" I told the person we wanted a refund and were only willing to fly direct and that I was convinced the route change was not forced by the airport because of "airport operational issues". They said they could not issue a refund because it was "airport operational issues". He could only issue a refund if it was a change from the airline itself- which it in fact was.
I did reach out to confirm with the Oaxaca City Airport that they did not force the route change! But the airline stop corresponding with me and has not indicated that they will issue a refund! SUPER SKETCHY! People in Oaxaca city said that this airline has no money.
DO NOT FLY, they lie, they do not have money and they do not honor customers. I can only imagine the shape the planes are in. The drive to the coast is now short and easy with the opening of the new highway. Save your $, time and maybe your life. read more
