Mérida International Airport is a very nice Airport. There are plenty of eateries and shops, but there are not always enough seats available at the gates. The security people do a very good job. Lines were not tedious. They cater to tourists from around the world. Overall, a very nice airport. read more

Good food options including Flavor town (recommend their #2 burger) and plenty of signage for gates and schedule. Aeromexico in particular was punctual and shuttle us to our airport and even offered great alcoholic drink options! read more

Delightful arrival experience earlier today! Clean, easy to navigate disembarking experience, and going through passport control was a quick, efficient experience with friendly staff. Lots of taxi options for transport to town. Great start to my visit to Merida! read more

I really liked this airport and it far exceeded my expectations for a small city like Merida. A few things to note I couldn't find a foreign exchange store at arrivals. Though it wasn't a big deal for me because I soon realized that in central Merida, there were a number of places for foreign exchange and almost every street Which gave decent exchange rate. Also, there is no Uber pick up inside the airport. It is a city regulation. Uber can still drop you when you're departing though. I was happy that there was a lounge for my Priority Pass. No fresh foods in the PP lounge , just some sandwiches and snacks. For hot foods, you can try the regular restaurants inside the terminal. The airport was clean and very well maintained. For non Mexicans going to the US, you need to get a green stamp near the gates before your final departure. read more

Very clean, modern and organized airport. Easy to navigate. Security checkpoint is usually pretty quick. Not a ton of lounges, but it's small. You really don't need to arrive here more than 90 minutes before domestic flights. There's a Johnny Rockets, of all chains. I can't speak for flying into here internationally or the airport wifi. I have only flown into/out of here within Mexico and have only used the wifi in the lounges. There are two terminals (A and B) so just make sure you don't find yourself waiting in line at the wrong security checkpoint. At least one of the lounges (AeroMexico) is BEFORE security so plan accordingly if you plan on using it. read more

First off AeroMexico charged us $60 for 2 bags for an 1hr 20min flight although I'm a delta premier member and they are the Mexican partner. We are flying back to US comfort class and I booked on my Delta Amex. I'm told I have to contact Delta and they refund it. Should be congruent if it's a partner airline and we were not charged flying out. Scam Secondly 3 men and 1 woman in terminal w/out a mask on or pulled under their nose - no security or staff to reinforce mask policy and this is a small terminal (B) The positive - airport is small. Easy to navigate. Staff we've encountered has been very nice. read more

This airport is very clean and very organized I found it a very nice airport not like Mexico City's airport. Airplanes deplane straight to the gate they don't use any stairs like in most of small airports I was surprised. Airport has big halls where you can walk free without having to stumble into other people. This is one of the best airports I have experienced in Mexico. Passenger pick up is very accessible and very easy to find I ordered and Uber and it came very quick once you get out of the main door you make a left and walk straight to the Sculptures and that's the ride share pick up. Again this airport deserves a 5 stars. Very very fast service. read more

I fly in and out of MID a few times a year and it's better than most other Mexican airports I've been to. It's a small airport with 2 terminals - very clean and not chaotic at all. There are a few restaurant/food options before security and the prices are reasonable when compared to the jacked up prices at most other airports. Immigration is usually pretty fast but customs can take a while as they sometimes only have one person screening passengers. Uber is not allowed to pick up passengers but the airport taxis are pretty reasonable read more

The worst airport I ever flew to be careful they will always try to rip you off some how!

We arrived here late at night on our first time into town, so we didn't linger for too long but were very impressed with the excellent signage and easy flow of the airport. On our way back out of town we spent a bit more time here and really enjoyed the cleanliness and ease of finding our way around. read more

We flew in and out of this airport in the last two weeks. Upon arrival, the signs were clear and immigration process went quickly. Customs was quite slow as they only had 1 employee working the line and she tended to send more passengers through the x-ray line even if the button turned green. I was impressed with the restaurant/food options that were here - Johnny Rockets, California Pizza Kitchen, Haggen Dazs, and more. Definitely more than I expected for a small airport! We departed from the airport early in the morning. The airline workers were helpful and telling us where to take our checked luggage once it was checked in. There wasn't much signage once you went through immigration and passengers kept walking down a hallway that wasn't allowed... a sign would have quickly solved that problem. We also took a gamble on food once we went through security and there weren't many options at all. There was a beverage counter and a little shop to grab some last minute souvenirs. Overall, this airport is pretty simple and easy to get through - good for travelers! read more
