I booked an engineer for a simple satellite dish realignment. Instead of actually checking the issue, the engineer took one quick look and immediately claimed my entire dish "needed replacing." He couldn't give a proper reason and blamed their sales team for agreeing to the job in the first place. After doing nothing except touching a cable for a few seconds, he said there was "nothing he could do" and the only solution was to buy a brand-new dish for £550 + VAT. Five minutes later, the sales team conveniently called to push the same upsell. I was charged £135 + VAT for this. I then hired a different engineer who fixed the problem in minutes by simply aligning the dish , no replacement needed. This company tried to overcharge me for work that wasn't required and failed to carry out the basic job they were hired for. Dishonest, unprofessional, and clearly focused on upselling rather than actually fixing anything. Avoid them completely. read more

Engineer Damaged My Alarm System - Then the Company Denied Responsibility I'm writing this review as a serious warning to anyone considering using Aerial Force (Also trading as Home Services Ltd) I booked a simple doorbell installation survey, for which I was charged £25. During the visit, the engineer mistakenly cut and removed the internal ringer of my home alarm system--a completely separate, high-value security component. This was done without authorisation, and the engineer was not qualified to work on alarm systems. The company has since denied all responsibility, even though: * I personally witnessed the engineer remove the component. * He later returned to the property, attempted to reconnect the wiring, and even visited the third-party alarm company in person. * The engineer also offered a 20% discount on doorbell fitting as compensation, which I rejected. Despite this clear admission of fault, Aerial Force's customer service team has been dismissive and evasive. They: * Refused to properly investigate unless I waived my right to pursue a claim. * Attempted to reframe the issue as if I was asking them to carry out a chargeable repair. * Hid behind a buried 14-day clause--despite the fact that the damage was not immediately obvious and occurred outside the scope of the agreed service. Their behaviour has been appalling: legally evasive, ethically questionable, and completely lacking in accountability. I am now escalating the matter to Trading Standards and the Consumer Ombudsman, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs. If anything goes wrong, they will deny it, shift blame, and leave you with the bill--no matter how clear the evidence is. I asked for TV wall mounting. They initially quoted £129+VAT and £85+VAT for cable concealing. The engineer arrived didn't have any professional ethics. He did wall mount the tv after drilling few unsuccessful holes. I was ok with that. When requested cable concealing he acted as if he know how to do. But he didn't have any clue of how to do it. This is on a flat with a plasterboard wall. He broke few holes randomly and was about to give up saying he cannot do cable concealing. I had to step in to make sure my walls are getting damaged permanently. With my help we managed to get the wire through. He took 15mins after that to put the wrapper on holes. Since he messed up the holes too big with no adequate knowledge, he messed up the screws too. I was patient getting my walls damaged, but i was ready to pay as the job finishes. He suddenly came up with a massive price £430 with super inflated prices. He shouted and threatened to rip the wall off while we were discussing about price. He was about to go on rampage while I was speaking to his company. I asked him to come out of home n then talk so that my family doesn't look at this idiot. He changed the price and increased the cost to £480 and then I paid to save my family getting panicked. Just a bunch of cheaters. I reported this to the company. They are blabbering despite given advice of invoice him cancelling and inflating prices. They are cheaters and very unprofessional to threaten for money. He stayed in my home for 4hrs( 30 mins fighting with us) for a tv wall mount and cable concealing. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!! Terrible service and really poor post customer service. I had arranged a visit for my mum, engineer turned up, left in ten minutes (and was very rude to my mum) and that's what you get for £79 + vat. Complained to company offered and was offered a discount to repair dish. Said I would think about it, 24 hours later issued an email saying if I didn't pay £79 + vat my debt would go to a debt collection agency. Would certainly Never recommend or Ever deal with this company again. read more

Poor poor poor service! First time I called they promised the technician would come same day at some point in the afternoon. I stayed the entire day at home and at 6pm they called me saying that he couldn't come anymore, but was available for the next day. The day after I was told he would have come between 1-2pm. He showed up at 5pm. In the mean time I called the central office many times but they were not able to help. Poor customer service and very pricey, definitely not worth it. read more

I made an appointment in the afternoon so that I could be present just in case they tried adding extra charges. I was told that I would be informed prior to showing up, only to be called by my wife to tell me that there was someone at my house adjusting the dish. This individual aligned the dish and replaced my Sky box with another one that I had...No parts provided, the dish was adjusted and sky box was replaced with one of my own and my wife was told to pay £106.80!!! Absolute waste of time We booked in for Friday 11th December 2015 in the afternoon as we were moving into the new house from 11pm, they tried to come at 8 in the morning when there was no one available hence why we booked an afternoon appointment. We called and they said someone could come before 6 that evening. They called us at 4:30 to say they couldn't make it and would book is for Saturday morning. 2pm I called and was told that they would come again before 6pm. Another call at 4:30pm saying that they couldn't make it and the earliest the could do would be Monday morning. I called this morning (15th December 2015) to confirm we have a morning appointment to which the organiser for the installers in the area called back to say they would ensure we are seen today and should be before 12pm. Now it's 1:30pm and no sign of them. Don't waste your time on these promise breakers as they will never turn up and just keep making promises they cannot keep. Had a call at 3:42pm to which I told them that I had already had it done by someone else. The guy on the phone was very apologetic for the lake of service I had. Not only are the bad a turning up they also report negative reviews to have them removed unless you can prove to Trustpiolt with a recipe (which obviously I don't have has they never came) and hence why this review has taken 6 months to get posted. Engineer came and fitted an arial in reasonable time and not too bad price. Sadly he broke my very expensive guttering as 'his ladder slipped ' He refitted the gutter but had also broken a corner piece I had not noticed. It was only after he had gone that we noticed he had also broken 3 tiles under the ridge tiles and 2 more further down the roof . He had also disturbed 3 more tiles where his ladders were lent on the roof. All the old bits of arial and fittings were left on back lawn. On calling arial force they asked for photographic evidence which we duly mailed. 10 days later no contact from arial Force! This is a rubbish outfit and I cannot believe trust pilot ratings if this is how they treat customers! Have now read other reviews on company and suggest everybody else does the same as they seem to treat people very badly. Keep away people!! read more

I called this company thinking it was local at 1013 on the first Saturday after moving in as there was no aerial signal, I was told someone would be there by 1800. I called again at 1532 a clueless young man provided no help. I rang a again at 1755 to be told by a clueless and rude young woman no one was coming. I rang to speak to a manager on Monday and was given the run around, staff answering the calls are rude, very passive aggressive and don't care about the customer. Aerial Farce not Force and they ARE not local it goes to a call centre. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY GO LOCAL. Appalling unprofessional and unreliable NOT recommended. read more

Aerialforce were OK. I sent a request for a quote online, and they got back to me within half an hour. The engineer turned up about an hour after that, and the aerial was installed in less than an hour after. All good. The only issue I have with them is that they're a bit pricey. But to be fair, they do exactly what it says on the tin. And yes, I would recommend them. Cheaper is not always better. read more

I'll give them a big zero (but had to put at least 1 in to create the review). Booked a morning appointment to repair/replace our aerial cable and by lunchtime, they hadnt shown up or called. I chased, someone called me back and said they'd be here in the afternoon before 6pm. I said fine, then a couple of hours later they called to say they couldnt make it as they're still on other jobs. Good job I didnt take the day off work, but still wasted the Saturday waiting for nothing. Wont be calling them again. read more

I only wish I could write a review about the engineers. Unfortunately, having waited in all weekend for one to arrive - and numerous assurances that one will be turning up, none have. Awful customer service, my last phone call to them to check when someone would be arriving resulted in the assistant advising they do not seem to have my details on their system. Avoid at all cost, I tried to place a review on Yell.com and Trustpilot removed this along with many others who have undoubtably had a nasty experience with Aerial Force. My review is fair and transparent. Aerial forced came to our school to investigate why a channel was not obtainable. The conversation over the phone was I would get a free estimate on the work needed. I explained I felt it would be the aerial mast needed repositioning. The engineer arrived and wanted £75 prior anything being done, oddly this was a conversation I had over the phone earlier but it was then offered this would not be required and that I would get the free estimate. Look I am happy to pay for investigation work and I have a local company coming today to do this now for £40!!!!. I wont be bullied though into paying £75 for someone to get out of his van and look. I expect more for my money and not these cowboys. Avoid avoid at all costs. read more
