I needed to get some legal documents notarized for my e-commerce business and they were able to help me out with that but that's not the main part of the review. We have been using another company using Authorize.net and also it links with our bank as well as merchant chimp in which they help save us money from each credit card transaction. In fact they help us about half of what it usually costs to process credit cards. It's pretty much saving us a good amount to reinvest back into our e-commerce. We use their rebate program to get about half of what we pay. They also apps we can use in case we decide to sell direct to consumer like a square app but using a mini clover POS system. I can say enough with all the help and knowledge we have been given by Jason and their team. Their system was compatible to everything we have been using and didn't change much but the merchant service. It also helps that they have a notary service which was clutch. I highly suggest in checking them out!

They asked me what kind of business I did and Jason did his pitch on what he does and what they can offer which is saving on credit card processing fees and more. Basically, we discussed further details and I was sure why not and pass the word along with some other folks I have at my agency. Long story short, everything worked out smoothly and they were able to help save money for my clients which in turn made me look great. Great service. Better business. Thank you Jason and team Merchant Chimp for the financial advice.

This company, while affordable, is totally unreliable and the use of their services can be…read moredetrimental to your business. Do not trust them with anything time or accuracy sensitive, because their work is sloppy and not nearly prompt enough to deal with strict deadlines issued by federal or state agencies. I am the director of a small non-profit theater company in Los Angeles. We trusted Legal Filings to handle our incorporation with the state and our 501c3 tax determination. We spent two months putting together our bid for tax exemption, including answering an exhausting questionare regarding our activities as a company and our plans for the future. The people who were supposed to handle our case seemed to be fired or quit from Legal Filings every month, and it became very frustrating to be unable to speak to anyone with a direct knowledge of our case. Apart from that, when very critical documents came in from the IRS with a tigth deadline, we were not informed until it was TOO LATE TO RESPOND, causing our case to rollover and forcing us to reapply and pay the fee AGAIN (not easy for a charity). Due to their negligence of our work we have wasted our time and money, and have essentially no recourse other than to post a scathing review on a public site like Yelp. It's unfortunate that this had to happen, not only because the application sent to the IRS should have been consistent and complete in the first place, but that they did not notify us of their error until it was too late to do anything about. In the meantime our company will no be able to fundraise as planned, and we have to wait to do this all over again, all of which will take another 9-12 months. Legal Filings is a disorganized and haphazard collection of hack attorneys and receptionists who collect money from inexperienced people like us and do little else but draft and mail letters and forms. They will not help you directly with any questions regarding your case unless you nail them down and force them to answer (most of the time you will only talk to an unqualified secretary with a cursory knowledge of tax and business law.) The unfortunate reality is that if you are a small business, especially non-profit, you should find a private lawyer who can help you file these forms in a more personal way, because companies like Legal Filings will forget about you until it is too late.

He spent an hour on the phone with me before I had even paid him for his time. Most attorneys do free consultations, but I will tell you from experience that my calls with other attorneys lasted only 10 minutes. That right there meant a lot to me. On top of that, he is extremely knowledgeable with decades of experience AND is rated a Super Lawyer. His team, Leda and Alyssa were such a fresh breath of air to work with. Kevin and his team explained every step of the bankruptcy process in plain language. They made sure I always knew what to expect and Kevin left no room for any questions. There were no surprises, and my anxiety went from a 10 to zero. I had my hearing recently and was so happy with the outcome and having a fresh financial start. If you're considering bankruptcy, trust me when I say, pick Kevin. If anybody has any personal questions regarding the whole experience with The Law offices of Kevin T. Wayne is not only highly knowledgeable and strategic, but also deeply ethical--something that is incredibly important when dealing with complex HOA matters. He doesn't just "rubber stamp" issues or take positions for the sake of billing hours. Instead, he is thoughtful, honest, and very clear about the strengths and weaknesses of a case. What truly sets him apart is his integrity. He will only take on matters he genuinely believes in and feels are winnable. He does not waste time or money giving false hope or pushing unnecessary legal action, which is rare and appreciated. He successfully represented us in a particularly complex and lengthy arbitration brought by extremely litigious homeowners, and his expertise and persistence made all the difference in achieving a favorable outcome. His rates are very reasonable for the level of skill and experience he brings, and his guidance over the years has played a major role in keeping our HOA on solid footing. If you are looking for an attorney who is honest, effective, and truly has your best interests in mind, I highly recommend Wayne Pariser.
