The Law: An accountant cannot use their backend administrative access to a client's bank routing numbers to pull cash whenever they feel like it. Officer, there may have been a billing dispute regarding incomplete monthly services, but the problem is the mechanism he used. He did not send an invoice, get an executive signature, or get our consent. He used his administrative portal access to unilaterally extract $470.00 from there account. Then in July 2025 they ABANDON their services and still pay themselves. Under Illinois law, using administrative computer access to take funds without explicit authorization is an illegal conversion of funds. She has a letter to share with the Wheeling Police Dept this week.
