They are always very helpful, I never wait in line for long the tellers are always courteous plus the place is clean.

I've been a member of Advia for more than a few years. I actually was able to get my first auto loan through them. At first they were great; however, as time went on, I realized they're lacking significantly with internal communication. In the last two weeks, I haven't had anything but trouble. You think working with them for nearly 5 years would equate to a high level of transparency and excellent customer service. WRONG! If I have to explain the reason I'm calling - to follow up to my initial call 5 times! Because the person that was suppose to follow up didn't - there is a serious issue. It's called customer notes. Read them! Second, if I have a request and it can't be fixed at the lower or mid level, there is an issue. 3. If I have to be transferred back and forth between departments it demonstrates a flaw in your training. I really hope someone starts to look into the process flow within this organization, and they should also look at the request that are made. 85% I'm sure can be made with a quick judgement. Ohh, you've been with us for x amount of years, and I see you always make your payments. Ohh and you fill out our questionnaires which we benchmark our level of customer experience against... great.... yeah, nooo I can't help you with that, it requires help from blah blah blah blah department..... ummm hello, I just talked to them twice, they transferred me to you. I've had a Visa credit card with Advia for years. Just recently, I received a replacement card in the mail. I cut up my old card and activated this new one per the instructions. Then I tried to use it and it was declined. Brand new card - never used. I call the credit union and I'm told the card is "frozen." I asked, "do I owe money?" Answer, "no." My next question, "why would Advia send me a credit card, allow me to activate it, then freeze it?" Her answer, "it was frozen already when it was sent to you." Stunned silence. "OK, so unfreeze it," I said. "No, you'll have to apply for another card." WHAT? I have had a credit card with Advia for years. Their website is always down, rarely works. I wouldn't waste a penny or two seconds trying to deal with this institution of chaos and ridiculousness. read more

I signed up on an account with my child. At the time was 17 because I had to. Didnt have an issue her card got stolen and to cover there losses they took my money out of my account and then informed me it was because we are equal account holders. I ask why then was there no communication with me the equal account holders. There are no answers. And no return on the money. They told me to go after my 19 year old child who had the card stolen from her. read more

I have been a member of this credit union for more than 40 years. Over this time it has changed names, changed management, etc. They have new management and it has gone to blazes. Customer service sucks, They locked my account and caused overdraft. I have a 6 digit account balance and I was not allowed to transfer monies to cover bills I paid. They locked the account so my pension and SSI are not being deposited either. As soon as I have access to my account again, I'm closing it down and going somewhere else. read more

God help you if your spouse ever passes away. They threatened to repo the vehicle even though I was paying on my personal credit card every month to keep the loan current. They refused to let me use the money that was being taken from my checking account (not with their bank) and deposited into the savings account there set up specifically for the loan. Even after I produced Personal Representative papers from probate and a death certificate, every time I called they would start in with the "We don't have the proper documentation" bull. They continued to pull funds from my checking account AFTER the loan was satisfied after they told me they'd stop payments (had to set up a stop payment with my bank to the tune of $40) refused to send me release of lien documents (was told they DO NOT email them, waited 4 weeks for them to arrive via snail mail, when nothing showed up I called again and magically the docs were sent that day via email) and then was told they couldn't shut down the account over the phone ( the closest location to me is 97 miles away) but then upon calling again (think I'm on a first name basis with all their phone reps!) I got them to close it through DocuSign. Come to find out, they didn't sweep all the funds from the savings account to be applied to the remainder of the loan before I sent payoff, so there's a nice amount of cash just sitting there as a cherry on top.
