They are professional, patient (for those of us anxious about visiting the dentist), and very accommodating. Dr. Afshin is an excellent dentist and explains what he is doing and why. I very much appreciate that he provides all of the available options and doesn't try to "upsell" on the work that needs to be done. Dr. Afshin is very diligent and saved my life. That sounds dramatic but its true - he caught an aggressive cancer in my mouth at a very early stage and his proactivity about making referrals has resulted in my being cancer free today. I am forever indebted to him and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Afshin.

Dr. Mitchell is an amazing dentist, always giving great advice and professional services. The whole staff is really friendly, they take the time to get to know you! They have also been really flexible with us around payment plans when we havent had coverage or when i needed big work done. I had to go to a specialist a few years ago for a root canal and dr. Mitchell called the specialist at the beginning of the appointment to check in with him and make sure he knew what work was getting done and again after to make sure all went well. Very professional, committed and kind! Recently my partner and I went in and I was telling the hygienist about my diabetic cat, she made me a whole binder of information and gave us all kind of support and help as her dog has diabetes too- she gave us more information than our vet! I had previously been bouncing around dentists after mine retired, and ended up having an unpleasant experience at a corporate dental clinic so I really wanted to find someone non-corporate. To start with, the receptionists were friendly and helpful when I was booking my appointment, and provided reminders as the appointment approached. When I arrived, I was happy to see that they have great COVID protocols in place. They seem to be well organized, and I didn't have to wait for my appointment. Dr. Okamura was wonderful. He's friendly, personable, knowledgeable and very kind. It is obvious that his patients' well being is his utmost concern. He is patient, and takes the time to explain things carefully. He also didn't try to up sell me on all of the things the corporate dental clinic was trying to tell me I needed. His approach is more conservative and careful, which I really appreciated. He shared his plan with me, and was upfront and honest about the issues I have with my teeth. He did a very thorough initial exam, even measuring my jaw and noting issues with how it opens and closes through various tests (I've never had a dentist do this before). I have had a problem with one of my teeth for almost a year now, which several dentists have tried to fix, but Dr. Okamura referred me to a specialist to take a look before we do anything, and I really appreciated that as well. All-in-all it was a great first appointment, and I feel reassured that I have found the right dentist for me!

The dentist and all the other staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. They are not pushy, just gentle reminders which I appreciate. The past weekend I had a massive toothache so I contacted them on a Saturday and they got back to the same day and gave me an appointment for that Monday. When I went in for the check up, they said I needed an emergency root canal and got me in the very next day at another clinic. The MOA called around 4-5 dental centres trying to get me in, really appreciated her efforts. Best part, they direct bill to your insurance company which saves you a lot of the time! Would definitely recommend them for your dental work.
