From the doctors to the people who answer the phones, NO ONE CARES HERE. I'm speaking from over a year's worth of experience, four doctors, and many office folks. They are brusque and dismissive, they do not look in depth into the health issues of patients beyond a cursory glance (if at all) at their records, and are consistently unreliable in following up and calling in prescriptions. You will need to invest LOTS of time and phone calls to get anyone working here, starting from the very top, do do the bare minimum of their job. Being on a high deductible plan, almost all my medical expenses come out of pocket, so when I see I was billed for something that didn't occur, I questioned it. Apparently this office is so money hungry and unconcerned with insurance fraud that they would rather fire me as a patient and that is just what happened- I questioned a bogus charge and they then told me I was no longer eligible to be a patient. Horrible Horrible place! Do not go here! I've been waiting to have a procedure done since January, it's now AUGUST. I waited 3 months to be seen for my procedure and the DAY of the appointment I drove 45 min and was 10 min away and they called to cancel and said they didn't have a tech due to an emergency, extremely unprofessional to call the day of the appointment and when I had driven almost an hour, this was in April. Then they said they couldn't reschedule me until August, absolutely absurd that I have to wait 3 months to be seen after I had already waited 3 months and missed my appointment because of their fuck up. I should get next day appointment and everybody else moved back. Anyway, it's now August and today was my appointment and guess what?!? ANOTHER tech emergency and they have to cancel my appointment again, same day no notice whatsoever, 2 in a row is absolutely asinine and now they can't fit me in u til November! Don't go here! The Advanced Urology Institute is located just east of Morton Plant Hospital. It's on the second floor where another group of Urologists used to practice. The waiting room is shared with a fitness organization. The chairs are comfortable and it's a calming environment. The doctors and nurses are great and very skilled. This office is one of a chain of urological offices that span over most of Florida. They definitely have their act together. If you find yourself in need of a quality urologist, you should call for an appointment. I am quite happy with my experience there. read more

I was referred to a doctor in this office but could not see her for months so I saw a Nurse Practitioner named Tisha. The code of "Do No Harm" does not apply to this NP. I called the office twice in one day for her to call me as I had severe pain and blood in my urine. She never called me. I called the next morning and they said she would call me in 10 minute because blood in urine is considered an emergency. She has not yet reached out to me for medication or advice. She needs to be in another industry as she can't handle her case load and does not care about patients. She has no compassion and does not seem knowledgeable in this specialty. Stay far away from this office it's a shitshow and Tisha the NP needs to be terminated. read more

I have left 5 messages for the nurse to return my call and have not received a return call. Then they basically played with the authorization for 3 weeks now. The offices communication is non existent. You can not reach anyone live, you have to leave messages. Walking in the first thing I noticed was a clean, beautiful, new office. The second... was a receptionist who made it very clear she does not want to be there by completely ignoring me while I stood there for a good two minutes! Giving her the benefit of the doubt I thought, maybe she's just really busy so I signed in and say down. When she finally called me back up to the counter, five minutes later, she was very rude with her tone of questioning, asked me for my co-pay then wouldn't take it until what seemed like forever later, then when I asked do you want the paperwork I filled out she simply said "no" and stopped speaking to me until finally I just walked away and sat back down. I witnessed another patient come in and ask about a follow-up to a procedure he had. She told him "this doctor won't do that a physician would. He went to ask another question after saying, "but I had it done here" however she had already rolled away on her chair and straight up ignored him!!! When he found her on the other side of the wall he asked, "Is that it?" and she didn't even reply! He turned around walking out of the office shaking his head. I sat there in complete disbelief! Thank goodness the nursing staff and doctor are more approachable but honestly I was nervous due to her being the first person who greets all the patients! read more
