#88/2022 A simple thing cutting my nails. I got careless cut way below the cuticle by the time I gave it the snip with the clippers it was too late. Didn't feel nothing for about 2 days then I started to feel a Little tenderness around where the nail was missing near the nail bed. Well I started washing it everyday a couple times a day with soap and water every time I'd wash my hands after using the can etc. Unfortunately damn thing got infected. And it began to hurt every time you touch it it was on my thumb on the outside not the inside so whatever would touch it would just drive it crazy and it would smart. That it would throb and it would really hurt and then it started to swell a little turned green built up with the whole pile of pus Little Black and bluidge I decided this ain't going to go away on its own. So being New Year's Eve I looked around a different places I looked at reviews this one's been kind of up and down I knew where it was cuz it's an old furniture store near the mall and there's a few others nearby but I decided all right I'll go give this a shot they take my insurance they don't take hmos but they take ppos so they'll be no cash up front needed the bill me later even if it's for the full cost I don't care. So I pulled in and I know just when I walked in that there wasn't a lot of people in there. I was the only one in the waiting room at the time but what I didn't know is this is also a general practitioner they have regular physicians here they have a lab, did you sleep apnea testing they do regular lab work such as colonoscopies and more from the regular physicians who are there. I had a weekend physician I have to wait for who's basically the on-call person they only comes in on Saturday which is fine. First thing I noticed was how welcoming the waiting room was it was like well I got Wi-Fi and I might be here a while some really comfy chairs I mean comfy LOL like the kind you find In Your Den armchairs big plush wooden. Masks are mandatory and I want to fill out the preliminary paperwork like every place turned it in waited in my turn. It was about 90 minutes or so before they brought me into a room very nice clean room more of the nice throne-like chairs. I told the practitioner when he brought me in what was going on I had what they call a nail Paronychia. A classic case of an infected nail that swelled and puffed up could happen on your foot or your hand. He laughed I said I know exactly what it is because apparently his boy is a habitual nail biter and he actually did it more than once. So he knew exactly what to do when he was at home there was no need to go to the emergency care. Well he was a nice guy took a list of all the pills that I take my grocery list as I call it and make sure to be no interactions or reactions if I needed to get some kind of a painkiller or a simple antibiotic. So is standard took my temperature my blood pressure all the vitals and crap like that tell me just to relax and wait doc will be with me when he can. It was about 35 minutes before he came in it was fine I played on the Wi-Fi watching videos on YouTube killed time it was all good and he came and took a look and said oh yes we're going to have to numb it and then we'll drain the pus. So he prepared a numbing solution similar to like novocaine for your teeth he put four shots in me injecting me with needles and four different parts of my thumb to numb it basically. After about 15 minutes or so it was I couldn't feel much at all I felt was basically a like my thumb almost asleep. He drained the pus put a Band-Aid on it and said basically you're going to feel numb this kind of like novocaine for a couple hours until it wears off. Post treatment he prescribed some bactrim which is basically just like a penicillin it's a antibiotic for infection take it for a week no biggie. And wash it like I've been doing put in a Band-Aid for about three or four more days. Definitely felt a lot better once the pus was drained down I could definitely feel a whole lot difference a little pain but nothing like I was experiencing. So we'll have to wait and see what happens from there but all in all I was very satisfied with the visit was very professional I had no trouble whatsoever with the staff or anything they did what they needed to do and they did in a very well professional job. So I'll just basically continue to keep an eye on it and hopefully everything stays that way and doesn't infect again and go from there. Walking out till it was really weird though with it being so numb trying to drive and touch everything it was like gripping something was a little bit of a task for about 90 minutes then it got better. read more

Opened late. Had to fill out paperwork which made things take longer. The entire reason I went here was because they opened at 8am. Staff members were late opening the clinic which made me wait with my two sick kids in the car and then when they arrived it was freezing in the building. I've been coming to this facility since January 2022. Each visit I have had with them has always been a professional experience. That includes medical doctor's, PA's, and nurses. I have always been picky about my health care providers since I've moved here. I wish I found them sooner than what I have experienced in the past. Most visits I've scheduled a visit, you also are welcome to a walk-in. The facility is always clean. That includes the front area and the rooms. I have never seen it not clean. The reception area has always been very polite, as well as professional. I have read many reviews on here and I feel they do keep up with the standards of maintaining professional urgent care. As well as their privacy of other patients. A lot of my visits were due to sinus related or flu like symptoms. So during COVID they have always checked me out throughout my visits. I never had an issue with them not doing what they need to do. Another thing which I will mention getting blood work done. I am the type of patient where I have a hard time getting it because of my veins. And 9/10 times they got it. Furthermore I've always been queasy, but overtime I've gotten better. What I'm trying to say is they always showed compassion. Also knowledgeable when I would ask questions. The reason for the extended review is because I am very sad I am moving. They deserve five stars because they do care for their patients. In the past I've had blood work and x-rays done. They have always followed up within a timely matter fashion. Now on the wait time of the facility. Everyone needs to understand there is walk-ins. Most times I try to make an appointment with them. I have never had an issue. On my Google review I will preach again that I rather wait a bit and have an understanding team then an unprofessional one. They listen to what you have wrong. I was double charged for a visit ($150) I called and got the run around, went into the office and spoke directly to the billing dept, got more of the run around. They said it would fall off of pending in my bank acct and won't be actually charged. This was not the case, I was fully charged 2 separate transactions of $150 and have not received a call back from the supervisor, who, per billing dept doesn't work set hours and the billing department has no idea when she will be in next to handle the situation. Don't bother making an appointment days in advanced. They will make you wait two hours past your appointment. They also charge for follow ups to read MRI's which should be no charge. We had to call to even get any sort of response after the MRI and the office staff was a mess. The owner is dismissive and no resolution was provided. Paid $150 for initial self pay visit to get an MRI order. Then paid $95 for a nonsense "follow up". Told here's some steroids and come back in another week for another follow up. We been actively using this facility for several years as primary care and this is the last time. The three of us will be finding another location. Sadly I have been recommending them to several families as I work in a Dental office and often see people that need a medical facility and we cannot help them on the dental side. read more

I had a really bad experience with the doctor when I went in for a bad allergic reaction. Halfway through the visit, he told me I had an unpaid balance, which was fine--I said I'd call to pay it in about a week. Instead of being understanding, he laughed at me. Then proceeds to tell me my sisters needed to pay their bills, and i need to tell them. So I said that I will let him know and he and laughed like I did something wrong. He said I should call my mom for help paying the bills. I'm 20, and I found that really disrespectful. I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be going back. DO NOT trust the people that work at his office. RUN, don't walk away from this medical practice. The Dr is more than competent but the staff are unprofessional and I can't begin to know where he found them. They scheduled me for a procedure for a Saturday evening at 8PM for me to arrive there and find no one in any one of the three offices. I called multiple times and left multiple voicemails. I waited there for 30 minutes in case they were running late. They didn't even have the courtesy to call me on Monday morning. I had to call them only to receive a call back on Monday at 3PM from a "manager" offering to reschedule the procedure. I don't like to leave bad reviews but having worked in the healthcare field i am concerned for safety of patients.I came initially to get a COVID-19 test since the cvs site did not have appointments and my primary care did not offer testing and referred this immediate care location. 1) they first told me that I HAD to see a "dr" before they could give me a test. For a nasal swab this is not necessary. They also did not tell me this when I made the appointment. 2) when I told them I had a sore throat(which is a symptom of possible Covid infection) the "dr" (I am pretty sure she was a nurse practitioner as she did not have a name badge or credentials on. SHE DID NOT TEST ME FOR STREP. She simply just looked at my throat with a light for 5 second and assured me I had step and prescribed antibiotics. 3) I simply came to do a Covid test. They did NOT give me any paperwork at all for "services" they did nor receipt. I really wish I could have gone somewhere else. If I get any sort of ludacris bill from my insurance I am going to show this for proof. The only good thing about this place was the receptionist was nice. Very poor practice and they should be ashamed for not disclosing that a "dr" has to be seen when there was no dr on site! read more

Was told over the phone that my letter would be accepted to receive treatment and when I got here it wasn't accepted and I had to pay $150 out of pocket to be seen. I already couldn't hear for 3 weeks. I remember a shower at the time left a couple drops in my ear and figured this would resolve on its own. I went on two flights for a family reunion. By the time I got home, my condition felt as though it had gotten worse. My sense of taste was diminishing, my anxiety was worsening. Do I have an ear infection, inner or outer, a brain tumor, I can't hear!!! My personal physician's office closed without notice to everyone including him. A new physician whom I had worked as I a nurse, was unable to take me for a good month because " they were slammed!" An ENT I had seen 15 yrs ago slipped me in an appt but not for 2 weeks while they were already booked 2 months out! Where to go, the ER? Many people wait from morning to night getting exposed to who knows what? My ER Dr son said, mom, you need to get that ear looked at, you might even need an mri. I thought, maybe I should should fly to Texas? But not with airline pressure! Then I remembered seeing an Advanced Urgent Care with an mri next to it by Orland Mall. At the time I thought " I should remember this." Maybe I'll just try that and see what happens. Best move ever. Clean, quiet, professional, admission desk clerk verified my Medicare/supplement insurance, was reluctant to say how long, maybe an hour or two? In 45 min I was escorted to a room. The nicest personable professional MD with hospital ER experience you could hope for! Dr Alzaen listened to my synopsis, examined me, and gave me a diagnosis. I'm in self home treatment now getting better. I just needed someone to look at my ear! Within a week if I'm not as good as I expect, he told me to come back! I went to the facility in Orland Park with a swollen ankle and in excruciating pain of which they did x-rays and also did a blood test. I am angry because the doctor was not able to tell me based on the x-rays if there's a fracture, torn ligaments, severe sprain. He just tells me it looks abnormal and then I am told I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for someone else to read the x-rays & results of blood tests! So in the meantime I am to sit at home in pain and just ice, elevate and wait on results. This is not what I expected from an urgent care facility. Then they want me to come back the next day to do an ultrasound and CAT scan....I'm not going! In my opinion they're just milking my insurance company with all these tests! I would have been better off going to the ER but I was thinking I would get some answers right away without waiting five and six hours in the ER. I will never come back to this facility. read more

First time visit as a walk in . Self pay just to see a doctor is $125. There will be additional charges for anything extra. Waited one hour because I didn't have appointment . We are new to Chicago, straight outtaNY! The 1st year of a move like this one is "endless culture shock". Finding Advanced Urgent Care was one of the VERY FEW experiences that SIMPLIFIED an otherwise mind-altering first 3 months! Whoddathunk that a place w/URGENT&CARE in its name was fully set up to be our PRIMARY CARE DOCS&NURSES???!!! They ARE.And much more!!! We always phone in for actual appointments during what used to be considered " reg.business hrs" While they have insanely long OPEN hours, I try to leave those hours {between 5pm and 8am} for those inflicted with the flu, broken bones, etc. Seems as though everyone I meet in my under 10 minutes of sitting in the ~Whoa!NOT~TOO~SHABBY wait room has a favorite CAREPERSON.Mine is their most recent addition, HEIDI BUL Heidi has a very sweet and very smart personality.That's a combo I rarely find anymore! I have had to see 1 other doc there,and he was lovely.What's really impressive is the support staff! Sweetest, most respectful, thoughtful folks! I don't typically write reviews, but feel compelled to do so. I visited Advanced Urgent Care on Thanksgiving (11/28/19) after I severely cut my right index finger with a carving knife. This was my first time visiting this facility and I called ahead to verify they could handle stitches. I should have trusted my gut and went somewhere else, as I didn't have a good feeling when I was taken back to a room and they couldn't figure out how to configure the room/chair/my hand to properly do the stitches. I've never had stitches before, so I chalked it up to "get over it" you are in pain and have anxiety over the situation. After a long time, the doctor came in and said he needed to clean the wound. He doused my finger in iodine. I screamed so loud the folks in the waiting room probably thought someone was dying. I've had two children and this was the single most painful thing I have experienced in my life. After that, he used the needle to put the numbing medicine in four places near the wound. Are you thinking what I am thinking? Yes, me too. WHY did he not numb my finger first? Good question.... Next, I was given a tetanus shot and he stitched up my finger and bandaged it up with gauze. I was on my way and instructed to return in 7 days to get my stitches removed with a prescription for antibiotics. After my visit, I called to ensure that the stitches removal was included in my initial visit. No one returned my call (actually they did - a week after I had my stitches removed). I asked at the front desk when I arrived, and she confirmed that I would not be charged for a second visit through my insurance. Upon checking my insurance website, they charged me for both visits. A different doctor took out my stitches. The wound was NOT closed. She doused my finger in hydrogen peroxide. I explained how traumatizing my first visit was and she was shocked to hear the doctor did not numb my finger. Since the wound was not closed, she used sterile strips & glue to seal the wound and bandage up my finger. I left this in place for TWO weeks. After TWO weeks, I removed the sterile strips to find that the would was not healed. So, I consulted with another medical professional who was downright shocked that the doctor threw iodine on my finger before it was properly numbed. He also explained that the MINIMUM number of days for a severe cut is 10 days with stitches and that I was told to return way too early. THEN he was even MORE shocked to hear that the second doctor put hydrogen peroxide on a wound where you need the skin to seal closed. Do you know why? I didn't at the time but now I do. It destroys the healthy cells and slows the healing process. Google it. It is now SIX weeks later (yes, I said six weeks) and my wound has still not fully closed. I have had sterile strips on my finger since the stitches came out. Had I had proper medical care that included being instructed to leave in the stitches long enough and someone who didn't throw hydrogen peroxide over my open wound....I may not be so angry right now. Oh, and yea, I'll mention this again too. They billed my insurance for the second visit, even though I was told they would not. I would have gone somewhere else. Which is what I should have done from the start. I hope someone from management at this facility reads this message and takes action against these two doctors. There is no email that I can find on their website to contact them. Please do not go to this location. I should have just gone to an emergency room to have it properly tended to. read more

Quick and friendly service! After an incident with the slip of a kitchen knife, the last thing I wanted to do was to wait in an Emergency room and have to pay $$$ for a stitch or two. All of the care stations around me were closing in a matter of seconds and I was desperate! I looked and saw that the Advanced Urgent Care not only took my insurance, but was open until Midnight! The moment I came in, the staff was super supportive. The nurse at the front desk offered to help me fill out my paperwork, since I wasn't able to use my writing hand, while another nurse quickly got my gauze to help with the bleeding. My assisting nurse was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. The best part, I was seen by the doctor within 15 minutes of me coming into the facility! Dr. Kuzmi was very clean, kept me informed on every step he was taking, and had me feeling 100% as soon as I left. Highly recommend if you're in the Orland Park Area! read more

When we got off a plane from O'Hare airport my daughter noticed her left leg was red in less than 24 hours she had cellulitis. We took her to advanced urgent care and they gave her IV iantibiotics. Advanced Urgent Care is more than an alternative to a hospital ER, they also are Primary Care Physicians with extended hours. There is rarely a long wait, the facility is warm and welcoming. They have comfortable chairs and a soothing decor. The medical assistants are very nice and competent, always offering a bottle of water when putting is in a room. My family and I have been going there since 2014 when we moved to Oak Forest. While all of the doctors there are amazing, the Nurse Practitioner Heidi Beckstrom is BRILLIANT!! She diagnosed a piloidinal cyst on my son in 2019 that others were saying was a recurring boil he was at a specialist and had surgery to remove it and has not suffered since. She listens and honestly cares about her patients. I was injured in 2016, have not been able to wear a shoe or get any relief after 3 surgeries. She suggested I upload my Raw DNA to DNADR and went over my results which indicated Ehlers Danlos syndrome a rare connective tissues disorder and sent me to a specialist. I can not say enough positive things about the doctors and facility. My preference is Heidi, but you can not go wrong with any physician. read more

I can't believe I don't have a previous review in here about this place. I was there in 2016 for an excruciating back problem the day after Christmas. I waited for forever but when I finally saw someone, and it was like an hour and half or two hour wait, I liked the doc a lot. Fast forward to 2018 and I just RECEIVED a BILL FROM 2 YEARS AGO. When I called to inquire about this, I was told, get this- yeah we changed systems and are just getting all the records input. Huh? If you're running a business with an intent to generate revenue my guess is that would be a priority. I don't have the same insurance or the same flex spending which means that I can't use either my previous or my current flex spending program. For a business, generating revenue is the whole purpose of existing. If they can't do that right, it makes me think much of their other processes are likely slipshod as well. read more

Years ago, I praised this placed. Now, different story. I waited an hour in the waiting room. Once in the room, I was quickly swabbed. I asked the tech how long it would take to get the results. In which she said "really fast only 10 minutes". Nope. I waited 60 minutes. Doctor comes in and oddly says in a weird tone, "how is your mood?" Very odd question to ask once you walk in rather than, so sorry for the EXTREMELY long wait time.... Considering she said it takes 10 minutes and I waited an hour. He did his assessment, and then tells me "I have good and bad news" and follows up by saying "were you swabbed?", in which I say "Yes, An hour ago." He proceeds to tell me that the girl "disposed my swabs". Ooooh it gets worse. He them tells me that he doesn't even think I need to redo those tests since he believes I would be negative. Im sorry, what is the point in doing these tests if you are gonna go off of assumptions and not results. What doctor doesn't want test results? What kind of practice is this!?! The tech walks back in and looks at me and says "did I do your swabs?" As if to act like she was not the one who messed up. In which I say, yes over an hour ago at this point. Fast forward to waiting again for results, in which horrible bedside manner from the physician with him once again making such odd jokes and telling me that "I looked so stressed". No sir, I beyond frustrated I spent close to 2.5 hours. Never will go back. read more

Without testing the nurse practicioner decided to call 911 just because they were packed with patients and didn't want to deal with my medical situation.This woman scared me and my husband, telling us she didn't want me to drop dead at her facility. She also stated I could run but not hide from covid (making assumptions without even testing me). I normally don't like to write a bad review, but I don't want people to go through this. I checked in with a friendly front desk girl. She was very helpful and made me feel comfortable. I was really sick so my first impression was great so far. A medical assistant took me in the room after 2 hours of waiting when there were no patients in the waiting room. He didn't seem like he was properly trained. He seemed nervous and careless. I told him my symptoms and they wanted to test me for strep and flu. I didn't have any symptoms of strep. I agreed to the flu and I was negative. I explained that I was self pay and that I would prefer not to get tested for strep. They still did a strep test, which was an additional charge. It was negative, shocker. I WAS MISDIAGNOSED. The doctor finally came in after 3 hours and explained that I needed an IV and that I needed to pay $250, additional, for it. At this point, I was getting very frustrated. I felt like I was not being listened to and I felt like they weren't treating me and my symptoms, just wanting money. They also left the doors wide open and I heard everything the patient in the next room was telling the doctor, umm HIPPA? I was just prescribed antibiotics?? and Zoloft for my nausea.. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was EXTREMELY unprofessional and he explained that this is all they can do for me and that I have to pay the full price. The first thing he talked about was money. He seemed like he wanted me to just pay and leave. His body language was disturbing. He had the worst attitude. After the fact, I heard him talking about me and laughing to the other workers! What kind of management is this? They don't seem like they care for their business. There's more.... I got billed even after the visit and I paid everything they told me to? I won't pay this bill. There is no reason for it. I have worked in healthcare and this place didn't want to treat me, just wanted money. A lot of red flags, I want everyone to be very careful because it seemed more like a business than actual healthcare. The management seems very careless. I do not recommend this "business". Please do yourself a favor and go to a place that will proper diagnose you and actually care about you, not your money. Heidi came into my room with my results and told me I needed to get to the hospital immediately because I was most likely in Kidney Failure. First of all, what kind of bedside manner is that? Second, she was 100% wrong. I went to Silver Cross and they laughed when I told them what she said. She hadn't even checked my blood to possibly know something like that. The reason for 2 stars is I came in not being able to walk on my left foot and I had to wait for 2 hours. There was no one in the waiting room and the nurses were going in and out testing patients for Covid. I understand, but I had an urgent matter, thus urgent care. The drs were in the back waiting. There was no reason I could not have been seen. Also the x-ray room was a disaster and couldn't sit on the table! Then the Dr says we'll if it's broke, we can't splint it or cast it. I freaking absolutely hate this place!!! I wish the day we went was not a Friday because we were not seen by a damn doctor but a nurse practitioner that doesn't even no what was going on. Her name was Noor !! It was the waste of our time!! And than the nurse that took my mom blood pressure he doesn't even no the f what he was doing!! Couldn't even read her pressure and had to try different stethoscope to make sure!! It was a joke being there for a freaking two hours!!! I was hoping for positive experience but Friday was the worst experience of my life!! My husband went here this past Saturday with textbook flu symptoms. They diagnosed him negative for flu, positive for strep. He had a severe deep cough, fatigue, severe body aches, headache, and no sore throat and his throat was not even red. Don't know what happened, but he was misdiagnosed. He went to his PCP on Monday and he was diagnosed with flu and pneumonia. So instead of starting Tamiflu when his symptoms first started, he went the whole weekend suffering. Fortunately he is normally a very healthy guy, but if he wasn't, he could be in very serious trouble. Why didn't the doctor look at his symptoms and why didn't they do a chest xray? With the terrible flu season we are having with so many deaths, I would think they would be extra cautious. The flu test they use must not be too accurate. read more

I went to the Urgent Care last night owing to a severe back pain/possible pinch in the sciatic nerve. This was my first visit there. I waited for approximately 1 hour 45 min (being the only patient in the waiting room) before I was seen by Dr. Elbaridi. He recommended physical therapy and refused to give me any pain medication. He wanted to examine me without any nurse being present in the room. He also insinuated that I may be a drug junkie, 'asking for narcotics.' I am a college professor who rarely goes to a doctor and am healthy in general. The physician who had seen me was extremely rude, arrogant, and condescending. I ended up going to the ER in the local hospital. I intend to file a complaint about this clinic, and the physician who had seen me in particular, with the Attorney General's Health Care Bureau and with the IL MDB. The medical assistant who had checked me in before the physician's visit seemed very competent and patient-friendly. He was very professional and I have nothing but high praise for him. While waiting to be seen, patients of the Urgent Care should expect to view non-stop advertising for various cosmetic procedures, teeth whitening, varicose vein removal, etc. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, especially for urgent medical care. If I could give them zero stars I would, by far the worst urgent care i've ever been to in my entire life. I waited 3 hours to be seen monday September, 23rd 2019. I also told them I was allergic to latex for them to still put latex bandaids on my body . They lost my blood work after sitting in the urgent care from 10:00 am -3:00pm. I was hung up on multiple times after calling to get test results. THIS PLACE IS A DEATH TRAP ... DON'T GO ! read more

Dr. Zein took care of my walk in emergency in a timely fashion. He's very knowledgeable and caring and took the time to explain what he was doing. The office is in a very convenient location and is very clean and spacious. Will be back for future medical needs. read more

PHI Violations and rude comments that they are too busy to get you test results. Not about the patients best interest at all! If you are hurt or sick, do NOT go to this urgent care center. I hurt my knee on Saturday and went to this urgent care after work on Monday. I was there for over 3 1/2 hours. They took an x-ray but no x-ray results before I left. I was told as we were leaving that the remote tech was reviewing the x-ray now and we would get a call. No call by Tuesday at noon. We called them and we were told that no one has looked at the results because they "are very busy." So basically, if you are hurt, they are too busy to look at your x-ray. They couldn't even tell me when I would hear from them, not even by the end of the day, again, because "they are very busy." No empathy or concern - none. Also, there were two PHI violations while I was there. Heidi Beckstrom, APN, was showing me something on the computer and then left the room without locking her computer. For 20 minutes while I was waiting in the room, the computer was open and facing me. I could see clear file names that would included patient information that is supposed to be secured. I obviously didn't open anything, but I should have never been in a room with no provider and an unlocked computer. I also could hear nurses talking about patients in the hall very clearly so that I knew what was happening with other patients, and heard them talking about me. I could hear from my room, and so could any other patient that was back in a room. If you need service for an injury and want a fast secure center, this is not the place. I still have no response from an x-ray, I don't know who could have access to my information as computers are not locked, and communication about my treatment was heard loud and clear for all to hear. read more

Came in after a terrible day at a wake. No one in the clinic and after a strep and flu test sat waiting way too long with a fever and body pain. I had to walk outside the exam room finally to ask for the Nurse Practioner to come and see me as I have an 8 am funeral to attend in the am. It was 11 at night and NO ONE was in the clinic. Not okay at all. I found two staff members chatting ???? Terrible sense of urgency . Really? Still no oo ever coming even after I requested help. After the exam needed several rx which weree sent over via fax . An hour later I finally left only to find out the Rx was never sent over too the Walgreens 24 hour that they told me to go to! The pharmacist said this happens OFTEN from this urgent care???? Keep in mind it is midnight, freezing cold and now I have to WAIT with strep !!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went here with a rash that was spreading whilst I was there. The doctor barely looked at my hands and literally said "I can see and tell from here that you have had an allergic reaction". He did not look at the huge rash I had on both thighs, even after me telling him it was worse there. I have never been allergic to anything and had not eaten anything new or changed any soap, lotion or laundry detergent, but he kept insisting that it was an allergic reaction. He did not provide me anything, he said I could use hydrocortisone cream, but claimed he couldn't even prescribe Benadryl as I am still nursing, which turned out to be untrue as pregnant women and nursing mothers can take Benadryl. The next morning I wake up in unbearable pain, my hands and feet are swollen and I am actually crying because of the pain. I had to call my husband from work to take me to the emergency room. The doctor there actually properly looked at the rash on my body, gave me some medication (that I could take whilst nursing) that would actually help and give me some relief from the unbearable itching and burning pain. Now after reading the rest of the reviews I guess I will have to wait for an astronomical suspicious bill in the mail, even after being told it was all covered by my insurance.
