We hired David Wilkes tree service on June 28 2018 to cut a tree down for $500.00. We agreed and I…read morepaid them cash. My husband and I were going to clean it up and remove it. They also agreed to cut the logs into manageable pieces so we could remove them without equipment. The did cut the tree but left the trunk cut into but not through. It was still whole and many very large logs. So my first problem was they didn't cut the tree up in manageable pieces like we agreed too. They came back on July 27th 2018 to grind the stump away. And did so. I asked if they would finish cutting the logs so we can dispose of them and Michael Wilkes said it would be easier for them to bring their claw truck and pick them up instead of cutting them. So we agreed on a price and I paid them additional money for the stump grinding $75.00 and the pick up of the stuff that wasn't cut up for $50.00, $125.00 total cash. They were supposed to come back before the weekend and They never came back or returned any of my calls. I've left many messages. Today is August 13, 2018 and I'm still waiting. We paid them a total of $625.00 for an incomplete job. Mean while my sod is dying because of the logs that are left.
