He was supportive and caring and provided excellent patient care. If you read my story below, you will see why I highly recommend Dr. Guzon. I have a history of heart disease having previously had five bypass grafts and two stents placed in the past. In January 2019, I had an additional stent placed at Mercy South and three days later had a heart attack and ended up back in the Emergency Room at Mercy South. After 11 hours in the ER and an overnight stay, the cardiologists at Mercy South told me they couldn't do any more to help me. All they offered was an increase in the prescription drugs that were already making me feel like a zombie. They gave up on me! My family asked that I be transferred to Missouri Baptist Hospital. After being transferred, I asked Dr. Guzon, who had been highly recommended, to evaluate my situation. Dr. Guzon said he thought there were three additional opportunities to place stents in my blocked arteries. While at Missouri Baptist Hospital, Dr. Guzon's partner, Dr. Andre Bouhasin, confirmed that the stent that was put in was open and then he proceeded to fix an artery deemed 100 percent blocked and a bypass that was felt to be a futile target. I feel like a new man, and am back to normal activities. The cardiologists at Mercy South said there were no alternatives, but Dr. Guzon stepped up with a proactive plan. He formulated that plan to get me the help I needed. Dr. Guzon is smart and talented, but he can explain medical issues in a way that the non-medical professional can understand. He is attentive and compassionate and treated me like a family member. I strongly recommend Dr. Guzon if you are in need of a cardiologist.

Dr Adem insisted that i needed a pacemaker and if i didn't get it he would no longer be my doctor …read more so i got the pacemaker and Dr Adem after the surgery he went to his country to visit his family , in that time a problem occurred i was told a wire was going through my heart and i had to go into immediate surgery one of Dr Adem's partners Dr Khaja was called . i was already given medications and going into the operating room as he told me he would be performing the surgery . another specialist said he was there in case this couldn't be fixed then he would have to crack my ribs and do the actual heart surgery .. Dr Khaja did a Great Job of fixing what Adem did .. Adem told me if i didn't have the surgery i could die so i had the surgery and he almost killed me . Adem called me at home when he got back to the United States he asked me how i am doing i said '' fine no thanks to you '' he said he was sorry and that he didn't know what could have gone wrong ! i said well 2 heart surgeries in back to back might be a clue .. he asked if he was still my Doctor i said '' NO '' Dr Khaja is my Dr now .. Adem said yes he is a good DOCTOR And A Good Man ! When i hung up the phone i never saw or heard of him again . Now That He Is In PRISON I'm Surprised It Is From INSURANCE FRAUD !! I Am Still With Midwest Cardiovascular except with a better Doctor .

My initial consultation was at the Creve Coeur office, but my treatment was at their South County office. The staff at both offices was very friendly and professional. The pain for the spider vein treatment was less than I expected, and I was easily able to withstand the discomfort for two back-to-back 20 minute treatment sessions.
