If you want excellent health treatment this is a great place to come. The doctors and the staff…read morehere are highly qualified, friendly and helpful. When you arrive you are greated with a friendly hello and get the help you need to check in and get things started. This continues to be a very good facility.

I had been having stomach issues for the past few months and have not had a primary care physician…read moresince my pediatrician. So, I finally put on my big girl pants and found someone close near by to help me out. Since the Middletown KentuckyOne was not taking new patients, I was referred to see Dr. Erica Gettis and thought she was great. I found it a little odd that I had to wait for my paperwork to be snail mailed to me to even be considered for an appointment, but then again I don't go to the doctor very much so whatever. A few days later I received a call from them to get scheduled and it was a fairly easy process. The entire building is very nice, including Dr. Gettis' office. She scheduled me for an Ultrasound and let me know about possibilities of gallstones and surgery. Getting the Ultrasound done was a pretty easy process as well, and they called me the next day to let me know that the test was negative. There were a couple things that irked me a bit; One being a technician/nurse that could not take my blood work and didn't really seem to know what he was doing, so I have yet to get my blood drawn there. The second being every visit I've had takes an unnecessary amount of time. My check up took almost two hours, and would have lasted longer if I didn't tell them that I was going to be late for a work meeting. I'm still satisfied to be a patient here though, and recommend Dr. Gettis to anyone in the East end needing a PCP.

Spent over $1700 on a 6 month testosterone treatment and saw no change whatsoever. They said my…read moretestosterone went up but still experienced all the symptoms of low T. I'm still fatigued a lot with low energy, trouble sleeping, etc. I'm the same as before. You would think charging people all that money for 24 cc's worth of injections, they would return your money if it didn't work but no. Don't waste your time unless they start doing money back guarantees.

I visited the Louisville Men's Clinic in April 2022. I discussed why I was there and they said…read morethey could help me. They gave me a sample injection, which did seem to work. The feeling was strange, but they said it would take some getting used to. One thing that disturbed me while I was there was the amount of foul language that was being used and that they referred to women as someone men should just use. The doctor said they are just meant to be F***ed. I should have walked out at that point, but a nurse with a better attitude sold me on injections, and I chose the cheapest package. Why they make you pay in full up front now seems to make sense or men probably would not return. After I left the appointment I noticed some discomfort, not painful, but enough to not being able to concentrate at work. I called them back, but they basically told me to take a warm bath and take a decongestant. ( I can't take decongestants, because I have side effects from it and I don't have time in my busy day to take a bath) I decided to talk to my physician and was told I should not be taking these shots based on how it affects me. Since then I have called many times to ask for a refund(minus what they sent me home with)but they keep telling me that I need to speak with the office manager. Every time I call, I am told he is in a meeting. It is amazing how many meetings they appear to have there. I finally had a doctor there call me to discuss my discomfort and he said he can change the dose, but I told him that a recent change in medication actually solved my problem. He said that was great and he would inform the manager to call me for a refund. I never received a call, and every time I call, the manger is in a meeting. I don't know if the person answering the phone changed but the spelling of the managers name miraculously changed after about a year of calling. I was not expecting a full refund, but should not have to pay for a product I never received. I have read other reviews stating that getting a refund is near to impossible. Now I feel that I should let as many other people know about my experience and I highly recommend you go to a normal physicians office. I will also be posting this review on as many websites as I can including the Better Business Bureau and will also be sharing with the investigative news stations that help people from being scammed and the board that governs doctors. A simple refund and apology would have prevented all this and I would have then left a good review even though the product was not meant for me.

Community Medical Center is not a large center but it is the most efficient computer literate medically knowledgeable polite and kind practice I have ever been to including large medical centers in Los Angeles and San Diego. Every office person at the entrance behind the windows at desks with computers and modernized databases are cheerful, professional, welcoming, quick and respectful. The hallways and exam rooms are spotlessly clean and disinfected with gurneys and furniture lower and designed for people of all ages and abilities. They seem to have their own lab with a cheerful respectful phlebotomist and the physician sits with the patient closely and asks detailed questions that he acts on immediately via his or her computer so that before you even leave the office he has (in my case and other) already made referrals for tests or scans or X-rays or to specialists or to pharmacist. You are automatically set up on their website so that you can sign in and see your test results or orders to specialists or tests and can easily message the physician with questions and they many times message you with what is being done found out or recommended. The website js set up to keep the patient as a partner with the doctor. Very very unusual these days but so needed and like the ones we see in movies but never experience until you come to Community Medical Center
