I literally and metaphorically slept better with the HFA team there. As first-time parents -- it's so comforting to have expertise and support at every moment as you're navigating life as a parent for the first time. When you have no idea what's going on, you're healing and tired and hormonal, your doula is a rock. As second-time parents -- LIFE-SAVING to have someone there to let me sleep as much as possible so that I could be semi-human for my toddler in the morning, and gave my husband and I some much-needed normalcy in the evenings. Everyone I've ever interacted with at HFA (Devon, Sara, Kate, Tiffany, Latoya, Norah, Erika ... the list goes on) was courteous, professional, kind, hyper-responsive and I never had any doubts that we all were in great hands. Give yourself the gift of sleep and peace of mind. I did and would do it again in a heartbeat.

She checked in frequently and answered all of my questions. Whenever I needed her, she was prompt to answer and always reminded me that she was there for me. When I went into labor, she was immediately by my side and did not leave until my baby was born and done with her newborn evaluation. I could not even imagine what birth without Kayla there would have been like! She massaged me the entire time, constantly encouraged me, and took care of any little details that came up so I could stay focused. I had an amazing, unmedicated birth and I could not have asked for a better experience! I would recommend Kayla to anyone! She will always be a part of my incredible birth experience and I am so grateful for her.

She and Jessi supported me before, during and after my (very fast) birth. I felt safe and secure with them by my side throughout my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum period. Jill even attended my sons bris and supported me during that difficult day. Jessi is the reason I continued to exclusively breastfeed my son for almost 5 months. I wanted to give up many times and she encouraged me to stick with it and guided me through the rollercoaster that is breastfeeding. The breastfeeding 101 class, better baby class, belly wrapping instruction and placenta services were great as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Jill and Jessi, Shea, Anna and the whole WBC family for making my first pregnancy and birth a wonderful experience.

Pediatric health care always gives same day sick appointments and even has Saturday hours until 2pm. My daughter's first well visit here at the age of 3 was the most comprehensive one she's had. I love that they take you right into the exam room so you are not waiting in a gross waiting room, and the longest we've waited in the exam room was about 25min. Her counseling and presence before and during birth provided me with so much comfort and confidence and allowed me to enjoy the birthing process (as much as you can enjoy labor). Cristina provided us with emotional and educational support throughout pregnancy and birth. She did this by being available at any time to answer questions and by providing classes, one on one sessions, and constant communication during the process. We learned everything we needed to know about birth and about newborn infant care and we both felt prepared for what was in store. She helped me become prepared on a broad level, such as practicing comfort measure strategies for labor, and on a micro level, such as providing us lists of what to pack in our hospital bags. She arrived the day I went into labor, went to the hospital with us, and stayed with me until my baby was born providing emotional and physical support and was she also great company! Many people think, I have a fantastic doctor so what would a doula help for? I also had a fantastic doctor who I would recommend to any birthing person, but even the most attentive doctors and nurses are busy with multiple patients and responsibilities. Having Cristina with us the whole time dedicated solely to our experience was priceless. Her presence allowed me to have a minimal stress birthing experience and I 100% recommend her services.

Dr. Guirguis was recommended to me by someone else who was diabetic and they had a great experience so I figured I would give the office a try. His computer system is able to link up with my NYU computer system so he is able to see all of my sugars just like my endocrinologist. I have had the greatest experiences so far. Doctor Guirguis immediately lets you know that you can reach him at any time with any questions or emergencies and he means that. This is something that I don't think most doctors are willing to offer patients. I reached Dr. Guirguis via texting and phone calls for a few scares & the office immediately let me come in that day for an emergency scan. I don't think many places do this. I was also able to reach him after with follow up photos and updates. I also reached Dr. Guirguis when it came to scares with genetic testing. He immediately guided me on what my husband and I needed to do in order to get the right testing done quickly. After speaking with the office, I realized that the doctor was answering me about this via text while on a vacation out of the country and I had no idea. The office workers are great. Jennifer at the front desk is always so pleasant, and keeps you upbeat and happy while taking your bloodwork. They take your blood and send it out there so you don't need to go to a separate lab. My big anatomy sonogram scans have been done with Raquel. She is fun, pleasant, answers every question you need and lets you know exactly what she sees. She allows you to leave with pictures, and I always leave happier than I went in. My emergency scans have been done with Blenda. She is amazing! She has kept me completely calm twice when I could be in a big panic. She is gentle, kind, and understands the scare of being a new mom. She also answers any question you need on the spot. Again, I have always left feeling better after working with her. I do not have enough nice things to say so far about this office. Looking forward to all of my following appointment appointments up until May with them.
