Im going to start off by mentioning that my family has been going to this practice for the last 4 years since my firstborn and we have been happy with them until today. The experience that we had today was honestly very suprising and very disturbing. I have never had such a disturbing experience before in a medical practice. the medical assistant was very unprofessional and was clearly frustrated that we were unhappy with the fact that what we came in to be seen for they did not have in stock. we drive an hour to this practice to be seen and another hour to go back home. imagine doing that commute to be told we drove up there for no reason. we speak to the doctor to find out that was not the case at and we could very much still do what we came for. after that unpleasent experience with the MA, at check out my wife talks to the front desk about future appointments and she inquires about the Medical assistant first name so in the future we know who to avoid in order to avoid issues. the front desk explains that we cant really choose who sees us that we can send a message to the doctor, in which we explain our concerns as to why we would like to avoid this individual moving forward since she did not want to provide the name.In turn the front desk personnel replies with " Please just go" completely and utterly disregarding our concerns. granted to say we will not be returning as this brings us concerns as to how staff members actually care for their patients. to the front desk person keep in mind you are the face of the practice. not the doctor or the assistants. you are the first individual people look at to gain the trust of the practice. you are the very first and last representation of the practice when a patient visits. read more

Front desk is next to impossible to get ahold of. Message leaving system is down right terrible. On multiple occasions we had to wait almost an hour in office to be seen for regular visits. Office and exam room carpets appeared to NEVER be vacuumed. Bathrooms had no changing stations which is crazy for a pediatricians office. Dr. Ali was nice and informative the one time we saw her, the rest of the providers were nice enough but office staff was subpar (especially the medical assistants/nurses). Appreciated them not forcing vaccine requirements but outside of that, the overall office experience was less than mediocre. read more

Wow. Horrendous practice.. I used to like this office until my son had a fever of 103-104 for 48hrs. Spoke to the PA after hours who urged me to make an appt for the next day for her to see him. When I called the front desk, the next morning, they refused because she was full and wouldn't even go check with her. If that was the case i shouldn't have been told to call in the am and should've just been told to take him to urgent care 14 hrs prior. By the next morning all the urgent cares were full for the day. I worked in healthcare for 10 years. When a provider tells a patient to call the next morning and get an appointment, the office squeezes them in. You don't tell the patient the doctor didn't know what she was talking about because she didn't have a schedule in front of her. Period. When I texted dr Ali, letting her know the situation and asking if she could fit him in somewhere with her or hannah, she told me I was inappropriate to text her. Excuse me? Unacceptable behavior. If the dr doesn't want to be contacted about issues, especially like this, she shouldn't give out her work cell number to patients. Very unprofessional. Never have I ever been or seen a patient go through this. Especially a 2 year old with a fever that high. Immediately finding another dr. Outrageous. I hear many people are fleeing the practice right now, due to these type of issues. I guess they care zero about their patients since they're schedule is so full all the time. read more

I've been bringing my girls here since we moved to Jax almost 4 years ago. I've never had any issues. They always get us in timely. Referrals are sent quickly. They communicate both via phone and email. Dr Ali is amazing and Hannah also. The entire staff have always treated us great. read more

We love Dr. Ali! She is so kind and we really feel she understands our kid's health. We genuinely feel the care she puts into her work with our kids. We don't live right around the corner, but is is worth the drive to make sure we are taking our kids to a doctor that cares. I can't figure out why so many of her reviews are hidden on Yelp. I am continuously impressed by and grateful for Dr. Ali. She respects parents and their concerns. She is so kind and understanding with young children. She is also discerning and knowledgeable about treating illnesses. It has provided enormous comfort to me to know that we can call Dr. Ali anytime that we have a question or are concerned about symptoms. During this recent Covid19 scare, our baby was very sick late at night and Dr. Ali offered to do a zoom call to view our baby's state. It was such a relief to us. I absolutely love the people here. From the front desk to Dr.Ali. They always find a way to get both my sons in. I have had a few visits where they both have been seen together. I have even had a few times where I had to make appointments almost next day and they always find a place to squeeze them in. They are very friendly and just all around good people. Dr. Ali is so great with my 4 yr. old and 8 month old sons. My 4 yr. old loves coming to the doctor's office. They have toys in each themed room. As well in the waiting room. Not to mention the stickers & suckers at the front desk. This is a great place to bring your kiddos. They have great communication and always go out of their way to answer my hundreds of questions ‍ Dr. Ali is extremely knowledgeable & compassionate. I am so glad that I found this pediatric office. Not the caring individual the reviews say of this doctor. My niece was turned away after being 10 minutes late to her appointment. She had a flat tire and called the office twice to tell them she was running late, but nobody in the small office answered the phone. She is also new to the area. The doctor sent her staff of one home 10 minutes after four never calling my niece to see if she had had a problem or was running late before making that decision, then said she couldn't see my nieces Daughter because her staff was not there. My niece also waited seven minutes or so behind another patient further delaying her check in time. After reading such high reviews of this doctor it was shocking to be treated as such. My niece drive Over an hour and a half to see this doctor. read more

Dr. Ali spent a lot of time with us during my daughter's first appointment. She listened very well to our concerns and offered several suggestions for improving my newborn's digestive issues. Her office is inviting and located in a convenient location for anyone in the Riverside/Ortega/San Marco area. I would recommend her, especially to any new parents. Found this place by google reviews and yelp reviews. One thing I loved was they are open on Saturdays and even had an after hours line. (Which I had to find a pedi to be released early from hospital with newborn on a weekend) I booked our first appointment online. The office was very understanding to our difficulty having a newborn and keeping our first appointment. One thing I love personally is the support from the way you choose a vaccine schedule for your little one or no vaccines. I never felt judged or pressured with anything. Actually got great advice and tips from both appointments with breastfeeding and sleeping arrangements. We were not rushed through appointments and had every question answered as a first time mom we can have many concerns but with both appointments we were heard and discussed everything. Love this practice and the ladies here!! We are also self pay and felt it was very reasonable cost.
