I made it very clear that I did not want to go to jail, or if jail was unavoidable, I wanted the absolute minimum amount of time possible. Adam advised me to reject both offers because he told me he believed he could get me a better result in court. I trusted his advice and followed his recommendation. Unfortunately, once we actually went into court, I felt like everything completely fell apart. The City Attorney presented a very negative picture of me, and I felt that my attorney's response and defense were extremely weak. The main argument I heard from my attorney was essentially that I work and therefore shouldn't go to jail. I did not feel like there was a strong effort to counter what the City Attorney was saying or advocate for me. The judge ultimately sentenced me to 80 DAYS IN JAIL -- significantly more than either of the plea offers I had been advised to reject. What bothers me most is that I genuinely felt like my attorney did not care about the outcome of my case. I trusted him when he told me we could do better by rejecting the offers, and I ended up paying a much heavier price because of that decision. I understand that no lawyer can guarantee a result, and I understand that the judge makes the final decision. My issue is with the advice I received, the expectations that were set, and how I felt I was represented when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this attorney to someone facing a DUI who is relying on their lawyer to seriously fight for them. My experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated

Craig Mueller was referred to me by a friend, he helped that friend with a DUI and Craig did the same for me with my DUI case. From my initial consultation he told me exactly what I would be needing to do, what classes to take and what the outcome would be. As soon as I left his office I enrolled in the classes needed and finished everything as soon as I could. He attended all my court appearances for me and it wasn't until the very last court date which was my sentencing that I had to appear before the judge. Craig was able to get my DUI dropped to a reckless driving charge. When the judge mentioned all the classes and requirements I'd be needing to complete to successfully close this case Craig walked up to the judge with my certificates of completion already in hand since he had told me from our initial meeting months prior what I was going to be needing, he made sure I was prepared to get this closed out as soon as possible.
