I understand we were late, but if that's the response your receptionist is going to have for my husband when 1) his frames have been broken for weeks, 2) he's blind as a bat without them, 3) it was difficult enough to get an appointment 10 days out, so of course he doesn't want to wait more, and 4) he was only 10 MINUTES late, then we won't accept that treatment. If you're looking for a new eye doctor and want to be treated with respect and reasonable behavior, do not come here. Full disclosure: After her rude and condescending response, my husband called the receptionist a c**t. Would I have done that? No. But should we receive that kind of service when we were just 10 minutes late? Definitely not. 2 stars we're given because the receptionist I made the appointment with was very nice and helpful.

I've been going there since they opened and never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be seen by the Dr, who is absolutely amazing as well & as soon as I'm done being seen by her someone offers to help me choose the best glasses. I was sick (not to the point that I can not work, and work was busy so I don't want to take the day…read moreoff if I don't have to) a couple of days ago and ended up driving all around town to find a place that would do a quick Covid test and if it's negative then I could go back. There was another urgent care in town (I would not mention any names) would not even allow me to come into the lobby and the next appointment would not be until 4 hours later and I am not even supposed to wait in the parking lot to do a test, I must conduct an online appointment and then go from there. I tried to schedule something for retail and everything was next day, so flustered, I stumbled on Hastings Convenience Care on Google, and they opened a little later at 9, and when I called and ask about if they provide COVID test, they said yes, so I went for it. Soon as I entered the urgent care, there were 4-5 people waiting in line already, but the staff were very polite and right before my turn, the receptionist/nurse lead the previous patient to his room, came back and greeted me right away instead of going behind the desk and greet me behind the pixie glass. I felt welcome to the place. She explained that I was lucky she has one more room left because all of them got filled up in a matter of 13 minutes from them opening. She lead me to the room, listened attentively about my complaints, did the tests I needed, and send me on my way. I saw a provider too of course and she did a thorough exam. I was in and out of there in less than one hour. I have been telling people if they need to see an urgent care provider, they should definitely choose this one.
