Most chiropractors I know are there to make money and are done with you within a few mins but these guys are different. They don't rush the process at all and take their time in getting to know you and how they can better help you. They also have a staff of massage therapists on hand so that's really awesome. I go there for acupuncture trying to do something about my severe diabetic neuropathy and the acupuncturist is absolutely top notch. The receptionist is also great. I'm writing about the facility itself. The building is absolutely not disabled friendly. There is handicapped parking at the front door and a wheelchair ramp leading up to the door. The door itself is a flimsy ancient aluminum type that opens to the outside. How is a person in a wheelchair supposed to open the door on a tiny porch which is barely big enough for a healthy person to stand? Then the wheelchair has to make over a threshold about 2" high. I walk with a cane and I can barely step over the threshold while trying to keep flimsy door open. The building needs an automatic door and a roll over threshold. The acupuncture clinic is on the 2nd floor. I have a very hard time walking and the stairs to the 2nd starts and ends by winding steps. The building needs an automatic chair lift as seen on TV to get disabled people like me up there with less pain. The restroom upstairs doesn't have any handicapped bars installed and the ancient toilet is tiny and very low to the floor making it very difficult for me and others with disabilities to get up. They need to install a modern, chair height toilet and handicapped bars upstairs. The building anchor business is a chiropractic clinic and it is on the 1st floor. The businesses on the 2nd floor rent space in the building. Again, I nothing to say about the people there. I'd have plenty to say to the landlord of the building.

I was a new patient and they got me in same day. The Dr was very friendly and asked me how I prefer to be adjusted and what I don't like which was nice. Why am I giving 2 stars? The Dr was very nice but seemed rushed. We didn't really talk about my issues and I got a VERY basic adjustment. It took about 5 minutes then he put electrodes on my back and left the room to see the next patient. After a while he came back in, took them off then said I was good to go. Then off to see next patient. As a 'new patient' they charged me $75 when regular patients only pay $45. Because of that, as a new patient, I expected something more. There wasn't anything more than anyone else that came in. In my total of about 20 minutes being there (sitting in waiting room, adjustment and electrodes), he probably saw 5-7 patients. My regular chiro (and the one before him where I used to live), puts the electrodes on or does other treatments first to relax my muscles before adjusting, which makes more sense. And then he actually sits with me for a few minutes to discuss what is going on. He really listens. His adjustment is a lot more thorough. Then he asks me to get up and walk around to see how I feel. He measures my legs to make sure I'm even. He takes the time to make sure I'm good before I leave. When I'm done, I feel great. Bottom line, I came into the office in a lot of pain with a lot going on. I paid $75 and the day after I'm still in pain and don't feel much different. Really disappointed

However, he spent time making sure my problems areas my neck, basically my entire spinal cord and hips were adjusted to his satisfaction. Then, Dr. Butch used a bit of electric stimulation. When I left, it was the first time I had walked and felt no pain in my hips in years. My neck and shoulders felt like the world had been lifted off of them. That takes a lot. The right side of my neck started to pop for the first time in years as well. I'm going to need an adjustment twice a week instead of once a week, if this keeps up.

Some chiros simply give every patient the exact same adjustment.....face down, side posture on right side, side posture on left side, and then on your back for a neck adjustment. Not Dr. Bueno. He checks you out and finds spots that you didn't even think to mention. He is very nice, very personable. He and Dr. Ziegler work with you on billing and payments. They have a medical doctor on staff to write prescriptions, they have massage and physical therapists on staff, as well. It really is a great office. The address listed here is not accurate...he and Dr. Eric Ziegler have moved their practice to Stewart Parkway. Dr. Ziegler is very, very good too, so check him out too.
