Kristine does an excellent job of providing 'Parents' with what is needed to succeed not only to pass the class and get them certified but also provides tips and tricks on how to continue training with your baby each and every day. I started bringing Hugo for classes at 4 months old for the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Class. He learned socialization skills and met some friends that he is in classes with 10 months later. He moved on and completed a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) class, a Nose Works holiday session and then to Intermediate Obedience. During one of our classes, we were able to take the dogs out into the community and see their training in local stores and in a Nursing Home setting. We met trainer Patty during some of our testing sessions and while on the Nursing Home visit. I'm looking forward to signing up for one of Patty's Therapy classes in the next 6 months or so. Our dog itched like crazy after the last two times because they apparently dont rinse him off well. the last time--and this will be the last time I take our dog there--they barely washed him. They didn't wash his head at all--there was still dirty in his white beard. They didn't even trim up his head--nothing--even tho I asked them to trim his head. Didn't trim his tail like I asked. Basically washed his body, shaved his body and that was it. i'm done with them. Our doesnt mind being groomed, so not sure why they didn't trim him. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Its like they don't even pay attention to details.
