That care was always slow and required our multiple complaints for Terry to get any prescriptions for her UTI's. She recently had another UTI and the practitioner refused to treat or prescribe for her. We had to take her to the emergency room at the hospital where she had to be put on an IV for the infection. This was the third time it was necessary for us to take her to the emergency room. Joe, the director of residential services for this facility, does not seem to have the knowledge or background to run this kind of facility nor does he have the state-required license. This facility has not had a licensed director for 17 months since which violates state law. Once when Terry had a prescription for a UTI med that was not given at the times prescribed Joe told us it was ok to be 6-8 hours late. This timing violates state law. When a staff member recently alerted us that Terry probably had another UTI that staff member was put on indefinite suspension by Joe. We have removed her from Weatherly Court and have filed an elder care abuse complaint with the state.

She's actually putting on a little weight. She constantly complains about sitting on that sling all day long. I know that's probably not an easy thing to do as they have to lift her probably 6 times a day for a brief change.
