They offer discounted packages that provide great savings to already reasonably priced services. Heather's acupunture skills and diagnosis are top notch. And with in-house massage, yoga, Chinese herbs and Ayurvedic products, it makes this place not only a one-stop shop, but holistic in their approach to health. Fortunately that meant I was prescribed weekly massage as part of my recovery for a knee injury and sciatica. I worked with Caitlin and she is amazing. Super targeted and effective, I feel like a lot of underlying tightness was addressed and my body's circulation and mobility are now much improved. Honestly the best masseuse I've ever worked with. Before I returned to California, Heather made sure I had a good supply of Chinese herbs so my body could continue to resolve its issues. That really helped since I live in a rural area. Altogether, I am really happy with the quality and price of services here. Everyone was super friendly for the 5 weeks I sought treatment here and I will definitely come back if I find myself in SLC again. I wish you guys the best. Thank you for taking good care of me and helping me move forward with my health.

Having never done yoga and not being very flexible my husband was apprehensive the first class. However after one class he absolutely loves it and after only a few weeks is seeing so many changes in his flexibility as well as his mind. Heather has an amazing way of making everyone feel comfortable with where they are in their life journey. (because let's face it not everyone is fab fit and 20, some of us are fab unfit and possibly in our 50's and 60's) It's an inexpensive and wonderful way to work on your mind and body and such a great way to spend an hour of our busy day. You really should try it at least once. You may be pleasantly surprised (we were)

I have more energy than I thought possible, am getting my taste and smell back after having covid numerous times and all of my digestive issues, which were pretty severe are all but gone. Not only does he have a brilliant mind (the kind you just want to borrow so you can absorb all his knowledge) but he is one of the most caring, compassionate and supportive doctors I've met to date. He is a truly a gifted healer that goes all in and is deeply invested in your health and wellness.

And they wanted to start with arthroscopic surgery to "see what was going on". I didn't like the idea of being sliced open so casually. Dr. Stevens saw me and had the problem fixed in TWO visits. He has remedied other problems in my neck and back after I overdo activities. His help has freed me from pain and helped me better understand how to keep my body functioning at its best. I cannot recommend him enough! Please note Dr. Stevens office has moved from the old town Sandy location to a space off 9400 S (870 E 9400 S Suite 110, Sandy, UT 84094). A lot of the apps don't have this updated as I write this!

I have been using Acupuncture for a long while. It all started when I was ski jumping in Utah,…read morepracticing aerials on the trampoline to get my air-sense down before I took it up on the ramp. I changed my trick in mid-air, a big No-No, and blow out my knee on the landing. Spotters saw my knee distally dislocated about 2" then pop right back in. Luck y for me it did, since the femoral artery is right there. In any case, the Team said.. Go see Tao Tan. I arrived. He was a short fat warm china man. He said, "You have cold body." You only take hot drinks while you recover." He popped the needles in, and I HATE needles, and I went to sleep for hours. He woke me up, rubbed his hands to build up Chi, and said, "I put energy into you brother" and he practically knocked me back when he laid his hands on my belly. It took 4 visits and 3-4 weeks of heat/cold and light PT, and I was back on the ski ramp. My knee has been solid ever since. So a few months later, I was on The Canyons SKi Patrol. We were doing pre-season maintenance and setup. Bumping around on an early season thin snow layer is hard on the joints. The rocks are just under the snow. THis is why the resort is not Open. Duh. Well the good thing is Ski Patrol and Maintenance crews get to ride the snowmobiles around, and we get to ski down if we want, the resort all to ourselves for a few weeks. The bad news is that it's rough on the body, and my wrists had had enough of it. I ended up with De Quervain's tenosynovitis in both wrists, so bad in fact that I could hardly drive a car, much less pick up a pint of beer! The docs were all agreed about cutting my arms open. They put me in a cast so I could travel back east for Thanksgiving, and then I was going under the knife. While back homein the Southeast, it dawned on me that I should go let Tao Tan have a look. 5 visits over a period of 3 weeks, and I was cured. I mean CURED. That was in 1998, and I STILL have practically no problems with my hands.. people who know me will agree I am very active, so there is no way I could still have that level of pain. Besides why would I lie? The whole point of writing this is to tell you stories of how you could get some relief for not much money or time with acupuncture. I was poking around on the internet to find his contact info.. it seems he is also now teaching! I am glad of it. He would be a good teacher.

With each I have received relief, but each has taken a lot of time for relief and then my back flares up again. A friend suggested acupuncture which made me a bit nervous not knowing much about this treatment type. I started researching the many providers in the SLC area and decided to try Pain Free Acupuncture. Rachel was great to put me at ease and explain the treatments. I am thrilled with the results of the treatments as for the first time in a long time, I get up in the morning without back pain! I also shared a pain in my wrist and forearm due to an accident and past tendinitis, and after treatments my pain is gone! I highly recommend treatments from Rachel at Pain Free Acupuncture and I plan to maintain my treatments for a pain free life.

I came to her 3 weeks in with a broken leg - break in the Tibia, with 5 fractures, 2 in the ankle, 2 in the Tibia, and 1 in the Fibula, a complex injury from a ski accident. My leg was purple and dead from mid thigh down, hanging from my hip. Renee is kind, she held the doors for me, took time to see what was going on with my whole body, and recommended protocols, she knows the body so well! She is spot on every time! She is a step ahead of my doctors knowing what my body is saying and what it needs! I have improved tremendously within 1 month, and it's due to her wisdom, not from my doctor! I got off all meds, only use herbs, and a holistic approach. She is thorough, takes the time to get to know you, listens to you and your concerns. I love my treatments with her, it is worth the investment! You come away feeling better and healing much faster. I highly recommend Renee with Empowerment Acupuncture!
