The product is of good quality but the customer service is shocking. There was a serious lack of…read morecommunication, which left us with a kitchen we didn't expect. We were mis-sold plans which Howdens in Southsea said they could execute but were later told this wasn't possible, after work had already commenced. Even though the kitchen was measured on an initial visit, the permanent fixtures were not taken into account and we had to buy new equipment to make up for an incorrectly measured kitchen. When the work was meant to start, Howdens hadn't even sent our contractor the kitchen plan. This delayed the start date. When notifying Howdens of our concerns, we were told these problems should have been raised sooner. However, these only became apparent after the kitchen was installed and nothing was communicated to us by Howdens. We are not mind-readers, after all! We will be taking our custom elsewhere for future house projects. We would advise people to stay away from this business if you want a smooth job and clarity throughout

My congratularions to this super efficient and competent company…read more My tenant sent me an e-mail on 1st Nov saying he found alleged black mould in bathroom drains. What a nightmare I had put 3 tonnes of concrete to shut the damp 15 years ago but finally it has appeared. In the evening of the same day, I rang this company with some doubt as I had recently (and still have) an extremely bad experience with a nefarious company in London, which was doing a stealth marketing (fraudulent advertisements). Mr. Taylor picked up the phone but sounded cautious as I am a woman and a foreigner. After a series of technical questions and queries about their standard practice, we found each other seeking the quality, accountability and reliability of services. This company only does mould because they are the specialists. They probably love moulds (maybe not much) and have pelasure in handlig moulds (what a horror again). I thought we dissolved mutual caution and went ahead to face the mould (you need a courage to face it)! I wired the initial survey fee at midnight. Incidentally, their pricing structure appeared very reasonable. On the following day (2nd Nov), they coordinated with my tenant for their convenient time, and turned up for the investigation. My tenant sent me another e-mail on 3rd Nov (at 10am) saying that, 'very efficient', the guy came and looked into it. My tenant continuded; "His verdict was that there is no mold and everything is safe..'. My goodness, I feel relieved (and, my tenant,, they are happy). At 4pm, Mr. Taylor sent me a survey report in PDF format that there was nothing to be concerned about. Well, the world looks brighter for now despite the financial turmoil in the southern Europe.. All in all, I paid 100 pounds for the following-day investigation (although Mr. Taylor did not guarantee their survey on the following coule of days.) and have got, in the documenatation (that I can use for the property survey), an assurance for the moment (and backwardly, what I did 15 years ago was correct). I believe that it was a value for money indeed. Mr. Taylor, isn't it better for you to perform your services only after you have verified that my money has been credited in your account? Well, I would say (as a banker), your service is quicker than the UK banks same-day wire transfer

Safe Clean is a completely unique company in the UK as it only has the rights to it's unique…read moreorganic cleaning products that from what they say leave better cleans and do not damage upholstery as it works at lower temperatures. The parent company is a larger company that has plenty of experience in this industry so who am I to disagree, much like the eurythmics. This company now has many stores that offer the same goods in the south so one outlet wouldn't be too far away. The way it works is that you call them up, they come round and give you the quote with they stress the ACTUAL amount you will pay, then you decide if you want them to do it. Simples! The website is very interesting as there is much information on there about the company and also information on how to keep your upholstery looking good so that you don't have to get them round as quick.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They did a decent enough job on the cleaning, which I…read morewould expect them to, but the price they charged me is outrageous! I kid you not, they charged £180 to come in and vacuum 2 curtains - without taking them off - and spray some nice-smelling something on them. They were in and out in under an hour. I am appalled and will never use them again. My entire 2-bed flat was professionally cleaned to a very high standard for about the same price! You cannot quote one price for a set of services, come in and do much less, and still demand to be paid the same. I was told over the phone that pricing is done by the size of the curtains, and not by what services they provide. Essentially, people with cleanish curtains subsidise the ones with dirty ones. Avoid at all cost!
