Pop in today for 15 percent off everything, plus some prosecco and chocolate cake to celebrate. They really do curate their collection well to represent the latest fashions and top brands in fantastic condition. I also really like that they have a decent selection of both men's clothing and shoes. Be sure to always check out their 50% off rack just inside the front door.

On Thursday I called this shop and asked what types of clothing they accepted and was told they…read morelike all types of clothes and to bring them in. The girl on the phone was very enthusiastic. When I explained to Mr. MVP what we were doing on Saturday morning he immediately groaned because he does not like consignment stores. Admittedly, the clothing we had to sell was much more conservative (Lands End, LL Bean, Eddie Bauer) then the items in the store, the items we brought in were in much better shape then the clothes we saw on the racks in the store. While our clothing was reviewed for its worthiness we looked around the shop and I noticed the prices were insanely high. A pair of (obviously) used calf high Bogs rain boots for $28. My brand new knee high Bogs with a lifetime guarantee were just $36 on sale. There was also a pair of Vans sneakers for $22, which is crazy! Brand new Van sneakers are $27. What sucks is that this shop had a lot of options in my size - small and extra small - but the clothing was so overpriced it just did not make sense. The shop is clean and fairly well organized, which is why we are giving it two stars. We took our rejected and out of date clothing and happily donated all of them to the American Cancer Center Thrift store next door.

Today I purchased my fifth pair of running shoes from Gazelle. On my first visit I went in planning…read moreto just try in shoes and Cass spent over an hour with me, watched me run, had me try over a dozen pairs of shoes on and ran behind me as I ran up and down the street with different shoes on. In addition he examined my existing (big box store) running shoes in order to get me into the right shoe. I bought them on the spot that day, and had a little buyers remorse that night feeling I had overpaid even though I had received amazing service. Later that night after a lot of online shopping I learned that I paid the exact same price as I could find online. From that day forward I've only "cheated" on Gazelle three times and all three were when Gazelle could no longer get a new pair of a shoe I really liked and had originally bought from Gazelle. Today's visit was no exception in that both by wife and I spent over an hour of personal one on one assistance and ended up with what I'm convinced is the perfect shoe for me. We did get the added bonus of watching a shoplifter attempting to steal from the store and then be run down by a staff member (Cass as luck would have it). Humorous side note - don't shoplift from a store a block from the police station that is staffed by runners. In response to the previous review - Gazelle is an awesome RUNNING store. They really specialize in running and are truly the leaders of one of the worlds largest running communities. The do ok with other sports, but running is their thing. They do have sales, although they aren't the most common. Keep in mind that you're buying higher-end running shoes. From a price perspective they are going to be a bit higher than your used to, but you get what you're paying for in both a quality product and amazing service.

I'll be honest, before this I'd never been to a shoe store. I always bought my shoes at Walmart or…read moreMeijer, but working on my feet all day in a hospital was killing my knees and feet with my new balances. I was greeted by Forrest and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I tried on a bunch of shoes and we settled on one that they didn't have in stock. He had them shipped to my house. I was skeptical at first that I'd actually like the shoes but after breaking them in for a day they are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I almost didn't want to take them off! The shoes get 5 stars and so does Forrest!!

So the family had to run my mother out to the dentist a while ago, and as we walking in, I spotted…read morethis familiar sign right next door- it was a pleasant surprise, and a welcome one! I'd visited their former location out by Western Michigan University for packs of Magic: the Gathering and cheap graphic novels multiple times, and I took the chance to wander on in and take a look around. It's better than their former store, I can say that much. Granted, they've pared down their inventory, choosing to focus on a certain few markets- the store's main focus is Magic: the Gathering, but they also sell board games, Force of Will, Star Wars: Destiny, Malifaux, and the X-Wing Miniatures games, along with snacks and drinks. If you're looking for any other game, you might have better luck heading over to Fanfare. They don't sell anything else other than those games and card game accessories (deck boxes, sleeves, binder pages, play mats, etc.) If you like playing Magic, this is the store for you- they have organized Magic events five or six days a week, in different formats, so you should be able to find an event to your liking and skill level! You can also get some snacks and drinks here, but if you're looking for a bigger feed, there are a number of restaurants in the same shopping center (including a Blaze Pizza on the corner), so you can fill up and be able to get right back to gaming. The best part of this store is the immense open gaming space. You won't be crowded for space here, so you can game and trade and spread out as much as you need, and if you feel like trying out some of the tabletop games, ask if there's a store copy you and your friends can try (but please treat them with respect, yeah?) so you could find out if it's everything you thought it would be. There's actually nothing I can think of that I'd change about this place- it's that great! Stop in and look around, you won't be disappointed!

Our go to place is FanFare but I convinced him that other places have a lot to offer. We came in here, he ended up selling a few things for store credit and we got a rainbow dice rolling tray and 2 packs of mtg cards. I was telling him about the card game tournaments they have here and when he got to Odyssey Games, there was a card tournament happening. He said he would be interested in coming back and a big factor was because the store was pleasant smelling (which is sadly not always the case for stores that are often inhabited by nerds). Added bonus: they sell gift cards. Will be back, hopefully for a tournament or dice.

This boutique carries Jellycat stuffed animals, Voluspa candles, and adorable kids clothing. It's beautiful in there. But unfortunately I can't recommend this store due to feeling unwelcomed and judged. Not sure if it was because I'm a minority or because I was casually dressed, but every look from the staff seemed to be a quick scan to my hands and pockets to make sure I'm not stealing anything. It was incredibly uncomfortable and offensive. Which is too bad, since my daughter would have loved that store and I would have loved to purchase a few items there. Oh well, I can find those same items elsewhere and save some money and the hassle.

I want the owner to decorate the whole entire world, because the place just dazzles the eye with beautiful little details, and it just makes me so happy to be here. I try to pop in whenever I'm in Texas Corners, which is one of the shop local hotspots in our area with so many local restaurants, a stellar spa, and great little shops like this. Things can be a little spendy here (Lilly Pulitzer is among the brands they carry for a comparison point), but they have to sales racks right now so it's a great time to find the perfect gift at the right price.
