I had a GREAT experience today. Staff asked if they could help, and they located a pair of earrings I was looking for that I didn't see displayed. I told them they were for an upcoming photo shoot and, when I accidentally left them on the store counter, one of the staff jumped in her car to find me. She didn't, but she did offer to meet me half way so I didn't have to drive an hour to get them! Or she offered to mail them to me at their expense. Who does that anymore?! They have beautiful things that are reasonably priced. I always make a point to stop by when I'm in the area!

Each item has a personally scripted price tag that tell you about the article of clothing. It lists the decade it originates from and the designer. It also tell you the size it actual fits, even if the original clothing tag disagrees, and a bust size which is so helpful since vintage clothing doesn't usually have the same stretch as modern pieces. She carries pieces in all sizes. I saw XS through 5X in the store with more than one each. the prices seemed very reasonable for what you were purchasing. The store smelled and appeared clean. the owner welcome me in and then let me shop- no hounding or frequent inquiries. I don't find anything for myself today, but I was charmed by her shop and mission. I wish I was local so I could peruse regularly.

I have previously purchased one of these as a souvenir gift for a friend. While this store has many beautiful items, there is a good amount of items that are a bit outdated. My favorite are the unique wine holders and the sailboat ornaments.

The owner even asked our opinion on stocking the shelves with additional items which showed she cared what her clientele wanted. We purchased a couple of items and went on our merry way. Many of the stores have changed over the years, and more than a handful have stood the test of time & remain every bit as special. One thing you can always count on is delicious beach town like, special foods like fudge, fudge covered apples, ice cream... a variety of restaurants. This time there was a whole shop with unique honeys that you can sample and next door one with olive oils. If you haven't gone here, you must. It's right next to the aquarium.
