Everything about our adoption was complex. Our son's birthmother lived in a neighboring state and…read moreour adoption agency was not licensed there. Thankfully Debbie was licensed in both. It was a bumpy pregnancy, Debbie was always researching and making suggestions to make things better. After our son was born the situation was even more trying. He was in the NICU having very serious medical issues and birth mother and father were arguing with one another. We felt very torn. Debbie was always the one to calm us down. Her years of knowledge and sound legal advise helped us wait for the storm to pass...and thankfully it did just like she said. Debbie made us aware of the risks and laid out timeframes for each step. I remember on the hardest day she called me late in the evening just to make sure we were ok. Debbie is very professional and warm. She saw us through the most difficult and joyous time of our life. We had peace of mind knowing she was by our side!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Deborah Spivack.

Above and beyond everything else Debbie personally took the time to explain the adoption subsidy process to us, something we were not educated on otherwise. We can not thank Debbie and her team enough. Our finalization day will always be one of our most cherished days and it was so special to have Debbie there with us as we became a forever family.

Our adoption journey was neither easy nor typical. We had been working with an agency for about a…read moreyear and during that time had experienced two failed placements. Our third match came through and independent source, and the birthmother wanted the support of Haven Adoptions to guide her through the process. While this was not our agency, the staff at Haven took us under their wing and agreed to work with our agency to help process this unique situation. It was easy to see why our birthmother chose Haven to help her place her child with us. Haven provided her with great resources not only during the process, but also after placement. They also did an amazing job teaming with our agency to ensure we were supported as well- keeping us informed the whole way through. They were with all of us through the entire delivery/ placement process to make sure that our son's best interests were paramount. We felt comfort in knowing that our birthmother was being well taken care of, and appreciated all the love and support that our family received. We consider the staffs of both agencies to be his 'fairy godmothers' and helping us find our happily ever after. Post placement we send our birthmother regular updates per an agreement Haven facilitated. They have helped us foster and maintain a level of contact that met all of our needs. Their advocacy for birthmothers and focus on erasing negative stigmas around placement is both admirable and supports our beliefs as well. Our journey took us on many unexpected paths, but we believe that there was a reason behind each one. We are eternally grateful to everyone involved, including the amazing staff at Haven. Thank you for your contribution to our family!

To us, he looks more like half Corgi, half Lab. Although he has ongoing issues that we have to work on, we love and adore him so much. I went to Operation Ava thinking that I was just looking and when I saw him, I fell in love and had to take him home. The adoption process was very easy. We were able to bring him back within the same week. Just make sure that your references are available and know to pick up Operation Ava's phone call to make the process go smoothly and quickly. My favorite part about Operation Ava was that they kept the dogs in private rooms, instead of crates. Overall, they were very helpful when adopting him, giving us tips on what he likes and didn't like. They seem to be a great organization and I would recommend someone looking for their next pet to go check them out.

I met a sweet pitbull named Olivia & I also got to play with one of the lab mix puppies during my first visit. I was SUPER tempted to adopt another dog, but my BF talked me out of it, since we already have Payton at home & she's already a hand full. A year later, I visited Saved Me again with my BF & a couple of friends. That was when I met Maggie, one of the sweetest pitbull mixes you'll ever meet. My GF & I fell in love with her instantly. We wanted to adopt her on the spot, but agreed with our BFs that we'll sleep on it to make sure we won't change our mind. I sure as heck didn't change my mind. Jessica at Saved Me was very helpful over the phone. I emailed her my application & provided her all the information she needed for me to be an approved adopter. I've had Maggie for over 2 weeks now & I LOVE her. She loves people & has an outgoing personality. She gets along with dogs easily & is so easy to train. I love that Saved Me allows you to get personal with the dogs before you make an inform decision. I played with Maggie for an hour & that's when I knew she was perfect. If you're looking to adopt, definitely go to Saved Me. You'll have the opportunity to meet dogs of various personalities & get to play with them as often as you would like before you decide if you're suitable for each other.

With 99/100 attorneys I've dealt with in the past, you end up leaving messages and playing phone tag, that was never the case with Wall & London. From then on out everything was made as easy as a legal matter could possibly be. I appreciated Rachel's candor throughout the process, she always gave me my options with zero rushing or pressuring me into an abrupt resolution. She also wasn't afraid to stand by our position and advocate strongly to ensure that we could reach the most equitable settlement possible. Frankly the assistance that Rachel provided with my unemployment hearing was by itself worth the retainer fee. Ms. London went the distance and achieved success for me when other employment law firms either flat out rejected my case or wouldn't return a phone call! I'll always be grateful for that. Because of Wall & London's representation, a true "win-win" was reached and a workplace injustice was remedied.
