We used their restaurant and the food was overpriced and tasteless. The proximity to the airport and the free shuttle did help of course. On visit two, we were accustomed to Turkish prices and services so we really knew how high their price was. We also had to ask for a change of rooms due to inadequate air conditioning. The service desk staff seemed totally distracted on both occasions which made us feel unwelcome. We'd suggest taking a taxi to a different nearby hotel unless location for early flights is vital. I will also add that the rooms are very nicely appointed and very current. The beds are super comfortable as well.

There policy is you must cancel 24 hours before your reservation. I called and requested a cancellation well in advance. The hotel never cancelled my reservation and instead took advantage of me and stole my money. I reached out countless times and they said they will not give my money back and ignored many texts and emails. This is such a low integrity business practice. There are many other similarly priced hotels that I'd recommend you look at. I wouldn't support a business that acts with such low integrity as the Hakcan Hotel.
