Absolutely excellent! This was the perfect find for lunch while we waited for the Christkindlmarkt…read moreto open. First, the space is adorable. It's instantly welcoming. Service was delightful enhancing the whole experience. And then the food lives up to the high expectations the atmosphere sets. Friend and I shared the goulash that was on special and some cheese/cream soup. Our waitress thought we were a bit crazy, but the spätzle that came with the goulash was amazingly delicious in the soup. The ox meat in the goulash was super tender and accompanied by tasty peppers. But the real star of the meal was the beverage. Also a special, they were offering a cocktail with their homemade apple liquor and bubbly. Um, yes please! Damn it was good. Friend and I each had 2 and could have happily stayed there all afternoon consuming many more.
