We recently availed ourselves of Bruce Julian Kitchin's free 30-minute consultation…read more Talk about Bang for the Buck! The consult went beyond 30 minutes but Mr. Kitchin kept answering our questions and gave us solid advice that helped us resolve our matter in an extremely affordable way. We found he was an excellent, patient listener. He was also compassionate, intelligent, and well-versed in a broad spectrum of the law. Our matter was "a little out of his domain," as noted below--but he advised us with common-sense instructions. We followed them and happily resolved our case. Our legal matter? Custody of a DOG. We'd found Kitchin under reviews of "Dog Attorneys." He told us, "Oh. I do dog BITES!" [^_^] Anyway his advice was spot on and we got our Family Dog back. Though Kitchin doesn't specialize in "dog custody" he adroitly translated tenets of the law to our specific case. This was of great benefit to us. And all for free. While it's true we didn't formally retain Bruce Kitchin, what he attained for us (getting our puppy home) was PRICELESS, as you dog owners probably know. Don't know what a mathematician or investor would call it but that's like getting an infinite return on zero invested. Kitchin studied at Santa Clara University -- a decent law school.

Then, I hired Breanna, whom a close friend highly recommended. My first conversation with her was free, and as my case progressed, she and her attorneys have told me how to keep the costs down. Since then, the court hearings we have had have been in my favor. She has a strong knowledge of family and business law. She has been a strong advocate for my interests. She has been caring and quite attentive to my fears. During the last hearing, I was very nervous and a bit afraid and told her so; she responded, "It is ok for you to have questions, be nervous, and be afraid. But I am not. I am ready, and I've got you covered." I do feel sorry for the mother with the kids. I wish she had hired an expert attorney instead of representing herself. A court is not an easy place to navigate on your own. The intricate nature and intimidating atmosphere of the court, as well as being in front of a judge, makes it essential to enter with the proper legal counsel. I will keep you posted once the divorce is over.
