My husband and I were gifted an intimate dinner cruise for our 10 year anniversary. Having never been we were not sure what to expect, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the beautiful views for about an hour before dinner was ready. You could have ordered a cheese tray or shrimp cocktail ahead of time, but we were not aware of that. The bar is open starting at 5pm when you board the boat. You can pay with cash or card. Once dinner started around 7pm we were surprised to find that it started with soup then a salad. A bread basket was also on the table. We had a great bean and ham soup. The salad was a garden salad with an apricot vinaigrette. It was quite good as well. Dinner is a choice of prime rib, chicken, pork, or a few different fish dishes. It was delicious and cooked so well. My prime rib came with the most amazing mashed potatoes and a tomato paste. Dessert was either fruit or strawberry shortcake. The strawberry shortcake was easily one of the best I've ever had. The whole evening was captured perfectly with some great views of Racquette Lake and all the great camps on it. We definitely will be back again!

All of the staff was helpful and friendly...especially our bus driver and the 3 guys working on the rails and accompanying us during our ride. Loved riding through the forest and seeing streams, small waterfalls and crossing the trestle bridge over the Hudson River was spectacular. It was nice that there were ponchos and umbrellas given to us for our ride and that the guides took our photos for us. It was a great excursion in a spectacular setting. I would highly recommend a rail bike ride at Revolution Rail in the Adirondacks!

It really depends on your palette, and you have to understand that the grapes local to the area will not be your typical grapes. My family got flights, both sweet and dry. We really liked the 2023 Louise and 2022 Marquette. In fact, the Marquette was the best of the bunch from my point of view. The ciders were both really sweet, but the Eden Angeljus was pretty good and reminiscent of Mead. The Riesling was also a favorite. We got a cheeseboard for two, and that was freaking delicious. It came with a maple cranberry preserve that was out of this world. But the cheese, and even the crackers, were exceptionally good, too. Beyond that, the service was exemplary. Ruby in particular was a joy to talk to and quite good at her job. Finally, the live music they had playing was surprisingly good. I did not expect that kind of quality on a random Saturday in May. I highly recommend going to this winery.

We had a semi-dry, sweet wine tasting! Our assessments: 1. Maple - our favorite! I personally couldn't taste the maple as much but undeniably sweet, but not very that it's overwhelming 2. Brianna - smooth, not too rich, a close runner up to the Maple 3. Highlands Blush - taste like strawberry! Delicious! 4. Arctic Fox - cool and smooth. Wasn't a favorite among the group, but personally I wanted a bottle. 5. Riesling - still delicious, but no surprises here - expected 6. Aromella - very fruity!
