On May 23, 2022, I paid my first deposit for dental implants with ProHealth Dental Dr. Karnofsky…read moreand Valauri. I paid $48,000 in CASH. Was never late on payments either. I was told the process of building bones and completing a full arch dental implant procedure would take 5 months. It is now May 25, 2023 and the final top and bottom implants are not only uncomfortable but don't function well. I cannot chew hard foods and food gets stuck at the top of my gums every time I do eat. When I smile you can see the screws in one corner of my mouth where the food is getting trapped. The bottom teeth are also very small in comparison to the top and I informed the doctor that I was not happy. I was even told by Robin Greene the Treatment Coordinator that my final implants were made overseas and because of that was forced to wait 6 weeks for them to be completed which drew out an already overdrawn process! I was given no instruction or after-care paperwork and the doctors that performed the procedure and designed the implants are refusing to return my calls. When I complained about not only the lack of comfort and functionality of the final implants, I was told that what I wanted done was not what had been put in my mouth and that I would have to pay an additional $10,000 or more for that. Just to have implants that allow me to eat normally! I was never provided another option for the implants at the onset of the procedure. Please do not come here. They are dishonest and lack integrity and I will be suing very soon.

Dr. Holzman and her team are just superb! My cleaning are always amazing. Highly recommend Tina and…read moreKrina.

This is a disgusting con artist of a dentist whom I strongly advise all to avoid. There is nothing…read moremore grotesque than a greedy, money hungry, unethical and deceitful person who takes advantage of his patients solely for his own financial gain. This is a person who should have his DDS title revoked and barred from practicing in the dental industry. DO NOT GIVE ANY WORK TO Dr. Naser Sharifi WITHOUT FIRST GETTING A SECOND OPINION FROM A PROFESSIONAL WHO IS ACTUALLY HONEST AND ETHICAL. So what happened you might be wondering? I had a cavity in my wisdom tooth which needed to be pulled. Very simple. Nominal fee. The lowlife of a supposed doctor states that he recommends I "save" the tooth by performing a root canal, for obviously 10 times the cost of having it pulled. I ultimately agreed because I thought he was someone with credibility and trustworthiness. However I was duped. I paid for the root canal thinking I am making a responsible decision. Upon the next time of going to my next dentist, he laughed and mocked the idea of a dentist performing on a wisdom tooth by doing a root canal. He then proceeded to pull all my wisdom teeth which were due for removal, including the one that dr. Sharifi had wasted my money performing the root canal on. Bottom line.. AVOID dr. NASER SHARIFI AND FIND AN HONEST DENTIST!

Although I haven't visited a dentist in years (don't judge me), my nostalgic feelings caused me to look him up so I can go pay him a friendly, non-professional visit as an adult (this isn't the first time I've randomly thought about how nurturing and attentive this man is, which speaks volumes). Now, I never leave reviews for ANY business (although my Yelp account is appropriately aged) but upon reviewing his Yelp profile, I noticed the completely undeserving negative review left by a disgruntled patient (or more likely, a competitor). I'm here to say that, although I was only a child while a regular at his practice, my parents certainly aren't people to put up with any disparaging service (they were regulars too, as he was our family dentist) and that lends to the additional fact that this is an amazing practice for children, as well as adults. His entire staff always helped us feel comfortable and welcomed, beyond the usual "I'm really good at being polite because we need you to want to return." No, my parents always made a point to expose those types of people in assertive ways, and their lack of discouragement with Dr. Naser Sharifi was always a true testament to the special and astonishing character of this man, traits that I already believed him to possess. Take your entire family there once, and your only regret will be that you hadn't visited him sooner. (and to Dr. Nasir Sharifi; if you're reading this, the "Professor" will certainly be coming to see you very soon)

I've had the most complicated dental history in the world - overcrowding, crooked teeth, a missing tooth and lack of teeth falling out when I was younger. I had to go for several extractions but they were painless and easy - and I was 10!!!! I feel like getting your teeth pulled out is a huge reason to avoid a dentist at a young age but I didn't even care - and I was a wimp as a kid... I still am. The dental aides are a bit timid, but they're also learning. Whichever aides I've met were students in dental school, or someone looking to gain experience in the field. Also - I have a small mouth and tend not to bite the way I should for a proper x-ray...that's not always the aide's fault - it's mine so I'm sure other patients don't bite the way they should, which results in poor X-rays. As for print outs, just ask. When I had my braces, dr. Jhaveri was in constant contact with my orthodontist to make sure my teeth were straightening themselves out, and making room for an implant. I needed oral surgery for a dental implant, and the surgeon I originally went to wasn't able to confidently say he'd do the surgery. When I came back to my dentist to let him know, he immediately gave me 2-3 other oral surgeons (mostly in queens) and told me if I'd have to pay out of pocket for all/some depending on the doctor. The surgeon he recommended me to did a great job and then Dr. Jhaveri was able to create my crown and match it with my teeth.
