It took them three months and four different closing dates to finally close on my property on Windfall, Rd in the town of Olean . The realtor was working both sides of the deal , said that's how they do it in Olean , NY . If buying or selling property do not use these attorneys, they will screw up anything . They are not good like the television commercials tell you , they are absolutely the worst , They should be disbarred .

I asked 3 times how much he would charge me only to receive no answer. Once we closed I was informed my check would be in an envelope taped to the office door as they won't be in the office for the next 5 days. It was only then that I found out he charged me $1,750.00!!! Including $100.00 for copying and mailing! I requested a refund of $1,000.00 but that was ignored. My best friend used them for a custody case and paid them $2k. Michael J. Saglimben was the attorney and he was never available. For $2k he attended the initial hearing for which he was woefully prepared and did not defend his client at all. He never bothered to make an appointment with her to review the case prior to the court date. We made several phone calls during this 3-4 month period for legal consultation when issues with the opposing party came up. During this time the office staff who answered the phones were rude and acted put out. They promised return calls by Mr. Saglimben which never occurred. The whole experience was awful. Fortunately the other party wanted to settle and his lawyer handled everything on that end. At the time she paid the retainer Michael J. Saglimben agreed to pay back a portion of that money should the case not go all the way to trial. Once the settlement paperwork was done we asked him again about a refund and he agreed that money was owed back. We never heard from him again and follow up phone calls yielded nothing. Not only were they worthless in this case but also liars. Find a lawyer elsewhere!!
