She's very direct, doesn't sugar coat anything, if you're doing something she doesn't like she'll tell you! She's not doing it to be rude, to me she's showing me that baby's health and growth is in her best interest! You cannot get upset if she's being honest about something you're not prioritizing for your baby! She's gotten on me about some stuff I should've been putting first for my baby and now I am after it brought to my attention that I need to do better about it. That being said, after searching for a provider I could relate to, I found this place, and chose the PA as my primary. Not an MD, I know, but, just as qualified to care for people, as I have dealt with and been in the medical field 20+ years. Right away, the PA and I made each other understood on what we expected from the other. That is a great quality when looking for a healthcare provider, believe me. She made me feel comfortable, and, she listens, a BIG plus. She tells me when she is getting too overwhelmed, as I have multiple medical issues, letting me know which ones to focus in if there is not an immediate issue I need to address. A healthcare provider is an important decision for anyone. Please, research your choices and make an informed decision. It's your right as well as obligation to be an active player in your health care. IMO, Children and Family Care is a choice well made, for a child or adult.

I'm so incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and efforts to really get to the root cause of what was wrong. He's careful to take time with each patient and really listen to what is going on. Then he carefully decides the action plan, carefully selects the types of tests he needs to run to identify the root of the problem and utilizes the information to get his patients well from the inside out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and deep down he IS genuinely a good person. So many other GI doctors just want to prescribe their patients a bunch of medications to cover up the problems. Dr Mark really wants to get you better! And the staff is always friendly and helpful.
