Working with Chris Costantini and Adelfia insurance was the single most expensive mistake my company has ever made. Chris just doesn't know or understand some of the most important California insurance regulations, and he makes mistakes on autopilot without bothering to correct himself. In 2023 he made a huge mistake which cost thousands of dollars, but fortunately he was able to get his insurance to cover it. Then he made the same exact mistake on auto pilot the following year - despite our concerns and warnings. Each time we strived to reach out to him, he was unavailable, and unresponsive, but would continue posting pictures those same days on all his social media sites , shirtless in hot tubs, congratulating himself for being under 30, as if his life was just one big vacation and he didn't have a job. Google it yourself, you can't miss it. Now we are stuck for the second time with a humongous bill resulting from his inadequate service. Prior to working with Chris we were able to survive 22 years of being a small business without even one insurance issue. His personal life is none of our business, but you can't find any information out about his company or him as an agent without stumbling on pages and pages of him shirtless, bragging about being rich, as if he cured cancer because he sells insurance. That's very frustrating to see when your small business is suffering the hugest loss in its 16-year-history because of Chris making mistakes. Chris Costantini of Adelfia Insurance Cost My Small Business Thousands of Dollars then Ghosted Me After maintaining my own small business since 2002 with zero issues relative to insurance, I started working with Chris at Adelfia in 2023, and that decision has resulted in nothing but undue stress, expense, and a ton of lost time. When first issuing my workers comp policy in 2023, Chris neglected to exclude my husband and I as requested. This caused a huge audit bill halfway through the second year uncovering the mistake. Agreeing that it was his error, that premium was covered by his insurer under an Errors & Omissions claim. In taking responsibility and processing this claim, it was my understanding that Chris had fully addressed and resolved his error. When the renewal for the policy came up, I again reached out to Chris for confirmation that I should continue with CNA given the issue and was told everything was in place as it should be for our policy. Fast forward to the second year audit, and I am again met with a bill in the thousands to account for coverage for my husband and I. AGAIN! The policy was never adjusted after the initial error for the second year and we were months into the third year and still the exclusion had not been put in place. Chris agreed he as at fault - again - and promised to do everything in his power to correct this huge bill landing on the shoulders of my small business. He spent three months begging my carrier's underwriters to backdate the paperwork which was firmly established as outside of their company's (and they say, state) regulations. Ultimately, the company would not agree to backdate forms and the huge bill remains. Given the final word from my carrier, I looked to Chris to right his wrong as he claimed he would "do everything within my power to make this right" in a call on November 13, 2025, along with. On January 28, 2026, he said "I want to assure you that we are continuing to stay on top of this". That was his last communication to me. We are on day 17 of total radio silence from him. I've placed calls, sent 2 emails along with a certified letter and he is nowhere to be found. Running a small business means wearing many hats, and your agent is supposed to make you feel secure about your coverages and their financials. They are NOT supposed to rob you of hours of your time and thousands of dollars. Doing business with Chris and his agency, Adelfia, has caused me so much unnecessary stress, and I really hope others will consider this and choose to work with someone else. read more

I had my home insurance through Adelfia but decided to switch to Costco since It offers 40% cheaper insurance with same coverages. After notifying Adelfia my switch to new insurance company, I asked them to send the cancellation notice to my mortgage company. After multiple requests, Adelfia still hasn't sent the notice to mortgage company for 6 wks. My adelfia agent claimed that it is not her responsibility to send it since I am no longer their client. Due to her lack of professionalism and work ethic, I wasted so much time calling/emailing the mortgage company, Adelfia and Costco insurance and hasn't resolved the issue. I might need up paying the new insurance out of pocket instead of utilizing escrow account. Shop around before committing to Adelfia since leaving them would create some unpleasant experiences like I had. And their prices are definitely a lot higher than most of other insurance companies. read more
