Conveniently located just off South Rd above Sir Donald Bradman, the office is not much to look at but the service inside is excellent. A friend once forgot her appointment there and he called her after she didn't show up 10 minutes later and because she promised to be right there, he kept his appointment with her and moved the schedule around to accommodate her forgetfulness. And for a business in the medical and health industry which is not often known for its compassion in cases of human error, this was a great display of his high quality service. The only bad thing is the consulting rooms share a wall with the busy chemist next door. I don't know when the building was built but they must have made paper thin walls because you can hear all of the happenings in the Chemist! Annoying, but tolerable I suppose.

The lady I spoke to was very helpful and offered me an appointment at 10:30 which I gratefully accepted. The clinic itself is on the 6th floor but is easily accessed by an elevator. The reception and waiting area is very clean, bright and welcoming. I arrived early and was asked to take a seat whilst I filled out some information forms - naturally. I was seen exactly on time by a professional physiotherapist who gathered some information about my injury verbally and by examining me before he started. He was very professional, very engaging and explained everything he was doing every step of the way. I have booked a further session before I return home but would thoroughly recommend this clinic as the service and customer service was exemplary

She said the ladies were very polite and friendly, and her full body massage was relaxing. The atmosphere is quite tranquil for the bottom floor of the Myer Centre. You forget that only a wall away is a booming food court filled to capacity with masticating humans. Very decent massage spa, prices were decent as well. Somewhere around the $50 mark for a full body. This was some time ago however.

In my opinion if you have a massage and it doesn't hurt at all, it hasn't really done much and this one gave a little pain but good pain that you could tell was working out the kinks in my muscles. Aside from massages, they do Reflexology, ear candling, hot stone massage and acupuncture. The staff are trained and are knowledgeable so if you let them know what sort of problems you are experiencing, they will definitely find something that will suit your needs. Scott worked with me figure out the source of my problems and to strengthen and heal the parts of my body that were leading to weakness and pain in other parts. Every other physio I'd seen prior to Scott would hook me up to one of those electric pulse machines, leave me there for 30 minutes, and then take my money. I wasn't getting any better, and I was so frustrated. Scott actually takes the time to talk through the issues, take a thorough history, use remedial massage therapy and demonstrate exercises and stretches I can use to help myself heal. A year on, my knee feels as good as new and I credit Scott and his expertise! I'm currently experiencing a different issue, and I'm booking in to see Scott with the confidence that he can help me find a solution once again. The other physios at this studio also come highly recommended to me by friends, and my experience with the receptionists has been great. They are friendly and efficient, and are able to book me in for before- and after-work hours to ensure that my physio appointments fit within my schedule.

Chiro is one of those thing that you have to feel really comfortable and safe with the practitioner as they are dealing predominately with the spine, I personally feel like im in good hands at Mt Barker chiro.
