That said, the service is still good and the price I pay for it is reasonable as well. I really got tired of being taken on a ride with a lot of other franchised car service centres which shall remain unnamed, who would charge me 4 times than what I would normally pay because they managed to find things that "had" to be fixed in the car. Not knowing anything or much about cars, this made me an easy target for places like these and eventually I caught on that half of the things they recommended fixing were not critical to safety. Sure, your car runs better, things would be newer, but was it necessary? No, not all. At Paks auto you can expect a fair price, and the owner will call you up before he does anything outside of what you have asked him to do, such as if he finds something that really does need repairing. They do general servicing and repairs so if you live in the area and are looking for a place to do any of that with your car, swing by Paks Auto.

The first time was for a service and a rather urgent repair, this happened to be in the middle of the Christmas/New Years madness with public holidays all over the place. Speaking to them over the phone, they found a time to squeeze me in and, when the repairs ended up taking a bit longer than expected, they kept the shop open for me so I could pick it up after work and not have to wait until after the long weekend. Both times that my car has been in the shop they have called me during the day to keep me updated on everything that's going on. The second time my car needed a repair it was for a cracked exhaust and not only did they diagnose this while I was still there, but actually lifted the car up to show me exactly what had happened and how it would be fixed. I've never felt like I was being taken for a ride or left out of the loop and everyone I've spoken to here has been such a pleasure to deal with. Most definitely recommend it.

Searched Yelp for a good local service centre as I've recently moved. Found Ultra Tune had a good…read morereview so decided to book my car in. Received a rough quote on the phone that sounded high. I had a look online into what I should have been paying the amount Ultra Tune quoted was almost 100% above the price Ford were offering as a fixed price quote. I figured if they were as good as the review perhaps it would be worth it. So I went ahead, got a loan car which is where the 2 stars come from. A few hours after dropping in my car I got a call several extra things all costing over a hundred so now my service was getting quite unreasonable in price. Some of the items should have been covered by the extra warranty I had on my car, Ultra Tune supposedly made a call but the information they came back wasn't even close to my warranty. I told them not to do any of the extra work, got my car back, sent my car to Ford for the next service everything fixed as expected.

I was directed here originally because they are the approved repairer for the insurance company I am with. On my first visit, I had trouble finding the place as the signage was so hard to see but fortunately they have redone it in the last few years so it looks fresh and is easier to find. However, what I liked straight away was that the space was huge so it was easy to drive in and get a quote. On both occasions the work was done quickly and the finished work was exemplary. The staff are friendly and helpful and always happy to drop you off somewhere or organise a hire car. When I picked my car up last time I hardly recognised it, not only did they fix the minor damage but they had washed and polished the car as well as giving it a detail inside. I was very impressed and even sent them an email to thank them. The reply came back saying I had made their day, which was lovely. I have no hesitation in recommending them if you ever find yourself needing some bodywork done to your pride and joy.

The repair of the body was excellent but the paintwork was absolutely appalling. The repairer was specifically asked to not wash or detail the car the car, or touch any of the panel work that they did not have to paint - I asked this from previous experience with panel and service shops. Well I got the car back and it went from having near perfect paint very sub par condition. The panels that weren't painted had swirl marks form a incorrectly used buffer throughout, almost all the panels had additional scratches on it from being poorly washed, and even the brand new paint was not safe . They were even kind enough to leave a hand print on the B pillar... When they were approached they agreed to see me to discuss my concerns and I was told in essence 'What's your problem'. and when I asked why they washed the car when they were expressly asked not to (and agreed not to) I got told "I cant give it back to you dirty". I got no resolution from Brighton Crash aside from an offer for a band aid fix and had to go through months of insurance remediation to get the car fixed properly. If you are an enthusiast or someone who cares about how your car's looks proceed with caution. Note: Car went in for repair NOV 2020. But this review is not about the dealership this review is about Adelaide Exclusive Mechanical. I found the staff at AEM to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Steve was great in handling my enquiry and although I am a lay-man, spoke to me on level, not down to me. Jeff had even worked at (the dealership) for 20 years and was familiar with my type of car. The result is that I've had my issue fixed for less than I was quoted for a diagnosis of the issue. I am very satisfied with the service I received from here and I will do business here again.

Coopers Car Service is owned and operated by a husband and wife team for many years and hopefully many more to come. Located on Port Road Woodville a couple of blocks before Woodville Road intersection, you can rest assured your car is in safe hands and they also offer a little Honda run about for the day if required. If you're not so inclined to take them up on the offer, they will gladly call a taxi for you otherwise there is a bus stop and train station not too far away. In the front office is a small TV, a couple of chairs and the daily newspaper to keep you occupied should you need it. There are no flashy bells and whistles here, it's simple and honest.
