I went along with my pa to get his newish car washed and, for little more than the price of a thirty-second car-wash machine in a petrol/service station, the fellas at Adel Hand Car Wash spend at least ten minutes treating your car with love and attention, the end result being a automobile that sparkles but is not scratched or dulled in anyway. I have used Adel Hand Car Wash several times t0 clean my baby Micra and they always make her extra sparkling clean. I often feel that my car isn't particularly clean after using the mechinical car wash machines. Located on the main road Adel Hand Car Wash is very easy to just pull into for a quick polishing up stop! You can't the miss the place! It is an old petrol garage with the roof still attached with about 5 or 6 staff ready and raring to clean. Staff aren't overly friendly however they do a brilliant job from just £5 for a small car and £7.50 for a large. I garuntee it will be a better clean than your local esso will offer! The brilliant thing about Adel's is that you can specify to the staff what needs extra cleaning attention! The venue is located about ten mins drive out the city center so if you are located centrally it is a little way out but if you like a sparkling and presentable car this is your place for a real clean. read more

Paid £15 for car wash and mini vallet and I can barely tell it's been done on the outside and nothing has changed on the inside. There are is still loads of dirt on the outside in all of the nooks and there are large dirty smudges and patches they have just simply missed all down the side of the car. Don't waste your money - the hand car wash in the Esso garage opposite McDonald's A6120 just down the road is so so much better and nicer service too. Outrageous. read more

Upon reading Charlottes review I thought i'd check this hand car wash out...I regularly use one back home in Barnsley and I'm always amazed by how clean and shiny they make my car. I'm one of these people who hates to have an unclean car and religiously hoover it out every week or so and replace the magic tree...yes, I have the power of the lovely vanilla magic tree... Anyway, back to Adel Hand Car wash....fast service....friendly service....excellent results. I'd definitely visit here again! read more

This is an excellent car wash but not so good if there is a queue on a busy day as they tend to cut corners and the finished product suffers eg they do not dry the car as well as they could and forget tyres and to wipe around doors but if you catch them on a quiet period the finished result is 100% and miles better than their local competitors. read more

I have just taken my car to the Adel car wash and paid £18.00 for the privilege . The interior clean - if it had had one - which I sincerely doubt, was absolute rubbish. Exterior good. I would not however recommend this place as on inspection of the interior of my car, I have had to do it again myself. The place were closing at 1pm but absolutely no reason to do a slipshod job at 12.00 read more
