Very warm and welcoming, this one-two person run show is new on the scene with big plans. The food is splendid, nourishing and happy. While maybe limited for some, we had no problems with the menu, even fighting over some of the lentil dishes when they arrived. And they happily let us take the left overs home with no stress. People visiting between December 2017 and Feb 2018 should keep in mind things can possibly move at their own pace due to the lack of staff, and relax and have another pale ale or beer and relax some more. I should note, we had no problem, but it was a quiet Thursday. I can't wait to see how the Chef and Owner Teddy (hope I remembered that right) develops this place. Ok this place is one of the 'only games in town ' so if you are craving Ethiopian food you need to go to Addis kitchen. Living in Vegas we were spoiled with many options for good Ethiopian food so -the spicy, sour, and savory flavors were a tiny bit muted for us, but no doubt Addis was excellent food and we will definitely come back again next time we visit Helsinki. wonderful customer service, Suomi and English were both spoken fluently, the speed with our order was remarkable, prices were right, beer selection was excellent -we had a great experience and highly recommend this place if you are in Helsinki! read more
