It's a scam. We spoke with Christine Robinson and she gave us the blurb and charged us $150. We scheduled a followup, but my family was sick so I called to cancel. She automatically charged my card anyway and rescheduled a followup appointment without my authorization. She refuses to refund my money for an appointment that never took place.
The whole program is sketchy to begin with. Just stay away.
EDIT 5/21/2018: respond to to Christine's comments. She uses computer software in order to perform her work. First of all, the software has several 'in progress' studies, but very few complete ones. Thus, it's not proven to be a reputable way of solving ADD or any other cognitive issue.
The writing was on the wall for us when she couldn't take an HSA card (which means it's not considered a medical practice) and insisted on storing our debit card for future use (which is in violation of visa/mastercard compliance unless it's stored in a PCI compliant way...writing the number down on a piece of paper is NOT and she could have her ability to take credit cards revoked should I wish to pursue the matter further).
Second of all, even if you believe the software works, purchasing the software, even for reuse with multiple clients, is significantly cheaper than paying her $150/session.
We have since gone with a reputable provider (see below). Had Christine been a little more transparent and worked with us on everything we may have chosen to reconsider once everyone was through being sick and I wasn't prepping for surgery.
However, when she comes across as being only about the money, it's kind of hard to trust in spending thousands for a 'program' that may or may not work.
Just an FYI for most: Many speech therapists also do cognitive rehab and also can provide strategies for ADD. I recommend finding one (The folks at St. Thomas Outpatient Rehab on International Drive in Franklin are good for this).
Finally, a reminder to Christine, I never confirmed that appointment you emailed me about. I refused to take your calls because you refused to discuss the issue in writing, which you 'thought' would potentially implicate you. I could have also just chosen to record the phone call, since TN is a one party state. In the end, I did not decide to pursue the issue further and simply performed a charge back when you refused to fund the money.
One final note, I also wasn't the one who filled out of the paperwork or agreed to any policies you have. As a third party filled those out and I wasn't required to sign (and had no knowledge of the contents) the paperwork in question isn't considered a contract...as you've no well found out by now.
Had you just refunded the money in question this entire review would never been written, including reviews I've posted elsewhere. read more
