PHENOMENAL CHEF! We hired chef Jarvis for our baby shower and a personal dinner for two!…read moreBaby shower: he prepared shrimp and grits, seafood pasta, and fresh fruit tray. ALL FRUIT WAS GONE! The freshest fruit! The shrimp and grits were light but well seasoned! There was just enough shrimp in each bite and he wasn't stingy with the portion size. The seafood pasta was an ultimate hit! There was seafood in every bite and it was the freshest seafood! I never had seafood pasta prepared this way. It contained crab, shrimp and a lobster topping! EVERYONE ATE ALL OF HIS FOOD. We ordered enough and none was left! All of our guests constantly still talk about how good the food was at the shower Private dinner: Chef Jarvis served jalapeño wrapped in bacon, seafood macaroni and cheese, fingerling potatoes, asparagus and a Tomahawk steak. The steak was extremely tender and well seasoned! The seafood macaroni and cheese was fluffy and the seafood taste was not over powering the Mac and cheese. The asparagus and potatoes were fresh and seasoned perfectly! To end the night we were served a brownie that was sooooo soft! I don't eat sweets because I don't like the way they taste but I ate the whole brownie! That says something! I would definitely hire him again! There is no one better in Atalanta! Typically everyone is about presentation and no taste or vice versa. Chef Jarvis comes with both! You get great tasting food, beautiful presentation and stellar service !!!

Luckily, I had her email and knew she'd respond right away. What can I say? From the very beginning, I knew this was going to be quite the experience. Hannah and I were in touch everyday curating the perfect menu for my girls trip. She was extremely accommodating as one of the girls did not like meat so she quickly made her own choices for my friend. She's extremely communicative which was my favorite part about her services. She made this experience 10/10 for us. And the FOOD?! Phenomenal! We devoured everything. Hannah took care of all the courses and one I didn't include was the kale Cesar salad that tasted so yummy and added the lightest clean touch to our steak dinner. I have no complaints with Hannah and if you're looking for a chef in the Blue Ridge she is your girl. She will take of you from beginning to end with upmost southern hospitality. We do enjoyed having her and will book her again no questions asked! Love you Hannah you were wonderful!!

Bovino after dark - 5/5: dessert course. Sweet, but refreshing! Chocolate on bottom, topped with strawberries & to finish a yogurt sorbet. Amazing.

FOOD (4/5): Courses rotate constantly. Never a set menu, depends what's fresh in season or what they want to experiment with. Every dish we had was bursting with flavors, unique with textures, and carefully plated. Loved everything they put in front of us. LOVED the creativity, space, and timing of each course. Amazing price for the quality of the food! MUST TRY! 1/5: asparagus, crab gravy/foam (thick texture), farm egg, crispy panko. Loved the crispy texture to make this dish complete! 2/5: bluefin tuna on top of potato, crispy bit on top. Mexican + Asian infused dish? The green sauce made it taste Mexican (tomatillo-ish) 3/5: smoked lamb dumpling in a slightly sweet, but also savory soy sauce broth. Dipping sauce on side. 4/5: duck confit. Crispy skin. Celery root foam. FAVORITE dish & wine pairing of the night! So savory. Loved every bite! 5/5: dessert course. Sweet, but refreshing! We were there for Valentine's Day, when most restaurants raise the prices without offering anything really special. Not so here! We were treated to a five-course fixed price menu, and we both opted for the wine pairing. All wines were solid, with a couple that were truly good. Here, the real star was the food. The dishes were inventive and whimsical, a both my wife and I finished every dish. We didn't opt in for a six course, but it certainly wasn't because they hadn't earned our trust. We were just full! I personally love open kitchens, and it's a lot of fun to be able to interact with the chefs between courses. They are true rock stars. This area on the Beltline is becoming a favorite and we will definitely be back to check out seasonal menu changes.
