While I was deeply saddened to find that Tiara would soon be headed across the Rainbow Bridge into eternity, they were able to provide medication that ameliorated her most uncomfortable symptoms and provided guidance on making her remaining time as pleasant as possible. My dog had a treatment to 'cleanse' and it was hoped this would in some way help his kidneys. He had to stay there for 2 nights but I wasn't allowed to visit him. ( I learned later that the female vet did not want me there because I was too emotional.) I didn't like this but I did it to help my dog. When I picked him up he wanted nothing to do with me -- he thought I abandoned him! He lived, not very well, for another six weeks and I never brought another animal there.
