I moved here from South Florida a little while ago and I needed to go to a podiatrist. My neighbor…read moresaid that I go to upper line in Palm Coast and they surely help you with your needs. I went there. They couldn't help me they said because I had Blue Cross that I would be treated as being an out of network. I asked them well. Do you recommend anybody else and she said well most people don't take private insurance we all take Medicare. I don't know if she really knew or just gave me the standard answer that they give anybody who walks in their door and says oh no if you don't have Medicare or Medicaid, we don't wanna see you I won't ever think about this place

I have been going to this facility, Dr. Milliron, for about a year to have toenails trimmed. I do…read morenot have any problems with my feet, but as a diabetic I was advised that I should have a podiatrist trim my nails. At my appointment today, I was directed to the X-ray room. When I asked why an Xray for a nail trim I was advised that they require an annual x-ray. I want to point out that as soon as I questioned the need for an x-ray the atmosphere changed. I refused the X-ray and was basically shown the door. I did advise that x-rays were a waste of time and money as I was leaving the facility. In my view point, this was an unnecessary procedure for a nail trim. I guess it's just another method to milk medicare and private insurance. This is my last visit to this facility. Also, the doctor always managed to trim my nails too short which was painful.

Dr Keene is simply one of the best knee or hip surgeons in the area…read more I had total right hip replacement 2.5 years ago, and my wife recently underwent a total right knee replacement. What people may take as not caring is actually, his expertise and knowledge of what he does. The quality of life regained by his talents can not be over stated. State of the art Mako robotics leads to a shorter recovery and faster return to the pickle ball courts. He is matter of fact. My first visit went as follows. Hello, we shook hands and he held up my X-ray and said, you need a new hip. My response was, just like that? He said, yep. I said, kind of like ordering a pizza when I'm hungry, and he said yes. He was right. He did personally, call both me and my wife the evening of our surgery to check in and staff followed up the next day. My only negative is that I feel Medicare should have paid him more! Thanks Dr. Keene.

Disliked him immensely. He did not take time to review the extensive MRI report on my injury prior…read moreto entering room. I asked him if he wanted to do the MRI suggested by the radiologist (on my leg). He said "I didn't read that" and had to go back and read it and then ordered the MRI. In my opinion, that showed a lack of interest in the detail of my injury and lack of detail in care planning. He was arrogant and disrespectful in interactions with me. He seems challenged and aggravated by educated people who ask questions. My husband is a physician, and I am a Ph.D. in psychology. If you like to blindly follow recommendations from what is in my opinion a middle of the pack physician, then he might be the right one for you. Also, I met 2 people in PT who expressed to me that they were not happy with the surgery he did on their knees. They had pain and swelling and limited ROM long after the date he had told them they would be "back on the pickleball court". I did not allow him to do surgery on me. He told me I would never walk again without surgery. Well, I walk well and did so without surgery. After I asked him if he read my history of RSD in a prior bone break in my medical history (which he had not), he agreed surgery could be a risk.
