There are some people who change your life so quietly that they probably don't even realize the…read moreimpact they've had. One of the biggest fears I had about going back to school wasn't the homework, the exams, or balancing being a full-time student and a full-time mom. It was leaving my children in someone else's care. After everything we've been through, my babies needed consistency. They needed to be safe. They needed to be loved. And I needed to know that while I was working to build a better future for us, they were somewhere their little hearts and minds would continue to grow. When I was 19, I worked at La Petite Playschool and Nursery. I remember how much everyone genuinely loved the children, how seriously we took our training, and how much care went into every single day. It never felt like "just a daycare." Over the years, Lisa became so much more than my former boss. She became someone I looked up to, someone who believed in me, encouraged me, and loved me through different seasons of life. So when it came time to choose childcare, my heart already knew where my children belonged. Watching Oliver and Juniper thrive has been one of the greatest gifts. They come home with stories, songs, artwork, new words, dirty clothes from playing hard, and smiles that tell me they had another day filled with love. They are learning, exploring, making friends, and being encouraged to be exactly who they are. As a single mom trying to build a new life through higher education, I simply could not do this without the people at La Petite. They have given me so much more than childcare. They've given me peace of mind. They've loved my children as their own while I sit in lectures, study for exams, and work toward becoming a nurse. There aren't enough words to thank you for believing in my little family. Thank you for every hug, every lesson, every scraped knee you've comforted, every milestone you've celebrated, and every day you've made it a little easier for me to chase a dream that will change all of our lives. We are so incredibly grateful.

My son attended this lovely, safe, and clean daycare and preschool from 2021 until 2025. The owner,…read moreMiss Lisa, was a consistent, caring, and communicative teacher. My son still loves her and talks about her. The price was more than reasonable, and the vacations were workable. I especially appreciated the independent skills and support she and her team offered my kid - she helped him learn to walk, potty train, go to the bathroom by himself, and really critically, learn to be kind and caring to other kids. We will forever be grateful to her for her wonderful support in raising our sweet boy.

Males are usually treated with more lax standards along with shorter, less developed girls. Some people are very quick to make assumptions about students based on overall airs. I was on financial support, but tuition is pretty expensive. Not many students. Some of the students that grew up in a wealthy loving family can be very inconsiderate with words. Dress code is strict. Dress code enforcer has tried to tell me where MY mid thigh was. Also the dress code does not provide much room for religious wear. Hijabs and headwear are allowed, but certain holidays might include certain attire. It can be a challenging place for students with Social Anxiety on multiple different fronts. There is no special needs program to my knowledge. I personally think that this school is a bit too sensitive, but that comes from a middle class public school person until I got here recently. The school is pretty academically supportive to those who don't require help, but it skips a year of material. I was scared to say this till now but it was also pretty terrifying the whole time. And exhausting. Mental health is taken care of by most of the teachers that are trying to get their own job done. Kids have said slurs, done VERY inappropriate things and made noises to others, and it's never taken care of. It always kept happening. Bullying was not addressed. Most people are obsessed with putting labels on you. And people wouldn't listen to me. It was actually pretty deteriorating. And I had already went into this school with crippling depression. My only friends at the school were much more support than the mental health support system or whatever thing they had set up at the time. And nobody knows boundaries. I'm sorry. I hope its changed now.

I've been to the middle school many times to pick up my nephew. My brother took me in the first time to introduce me to the staff, so they knew who I was when I came to pick up the kid. The staff are all very kind and helpful. They really seem to have kid's best interest in mind, and I appreciate that. In the afternoon, everyone seems to go in and get their kids. Staff pay very good attention to who's picking kids up. I am definitely impressed by the staff. The classrooms are pretty clean and teachers answer questions easily and are very helpful. All in all, I love that I don't have to fight parking just to pick the kid up, staff gets to know family members and are really accommodating and helpful. Like I said, they really seem to care about the kids and take care of them.

So we went as a family. Now let me tell you this is SO much fun. Expect to get SOAKING wet with paint. I'd 100% suggest keeping your hair NOT painted as it makes for a HUGE mess. But definitely get the car seats covered so you don't transfer paint. I'd also suggest if it's cold outside, or quite honesty simply for COMFORT, to bring a change of clothes. And go change at Starbucks or something after. We were ALL super cold on the ride home. I think that you definitely don't need as much time as you're allotted as you run out of paint FAST. And we used every last drop!!! It was an EPIC family fun afternoon. I DO think it absolutely stinks that you can't change there...they should get a changing area or figure something out because hello everyone is WET!! Other than that, 5 stars for fun. Less one for the inconvenience of not being able to change THERE.
