Great Hindu temple with South Indian deities and delicious dosa!…read more In the center, there's a large statue of Sri Venkateswara or Tirupati Balaji, which is another form of Lord Vishnu worshipped in the South. There are a handful of deities that are more prevalent in the North like Ganesha, Hanuman, Durga, etc. Even though I'm North Indian, I enjoy coming to the temple and worshipping all the deities. There's a wonderful cafeteria downstairs with scrumptious masala dosas, warm tea, and some other apps. There's a great Deepavali annual celebration with fireworks and puja for a few days along with a special Thali and other types of food offered during the festivities. There are events at the temple which you can easily find online. The Thali is a bit different than a traditional Thali with a ginormous Puri, which is more like a Batura, the dhal/kitcheri was quite tasty. The channa chick peas were a bit undercooked and the rice had a spicy kick! While the Thali was fun to try, I'd stick to the Masala Dosas. The heated tile floor downstairs will keep your feet nice and warm. Don't forgot to bring socks for sanitation/hygiene in the bathrooms. My favorite local Hindu temple and always look forward to returning for some worship and dosa!

Out of curiosity I found out the Hindu temple was hosting Tirumala Tirupati Lord Sri (Balaji) Venkateswara from India! From discussing the event with co-workers, it is considered a great honor to receive the Lord's blessing with the great bhakti, Shradda and enjoy the feeling of being in Tirumala Tirupati (India). Devoted Hindu's and open minded patrons had an opportunity to participate in all sevas and obtain the blessings of Lord Sri Venkateswara. Below is the highlight of events: * 7:30 AM - Sri Suprabhatam * 8:15 AM - Tomala Seva * 9:00 AM - Sahasranama Archana * 10:00AM- Sri Srinivasa Kalyana Mahotsavam * 6:00PM- Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepa Alankaram * 9:00PM- Ekantha Pavalimpu Seva Additional signifianct and unique features of this event included: * Vigrahas (Idols) of Sri Bhu Sametha Venkateswara Swami from Tirupati * TTD priests and Veda Prabhanda Pandits performed all Sevas * Authentic Arjitha sevas as seen in Tirumala. * Puja Samagri and laddu Prasadam were brought in from India * Thambhulam for premium and Kalyanam sponsorship from Tirupati

Other women were so happy that I was there for the first time, they gave me hijabs that were donated. I couldn't stop crying during my experience. Of course, the earlier you arrive, the better located you'll be for Jummah prayers. The parking is pretty good. It is located by a commuter parking lot so there are plenty of spaces, unlike many other masjids. I've only been during Jummah, and it is one of the better khutbahs I've been to. They have a sister's area as well (though I can't speak for how spacious it is or any details on it). Overall, if you happen to be in the area it is worth stopping by. They have 12:30pm and 1:30pm Jummah prayers.
