We worked with Trevor Wissink-Adams of Adams & Co. on a home search tied to a 1031 exchange, which involves tight timelines and many moving parts. Trevor was generous with his time, knowledgeable about the market, and always responsive. Ultimately, our family pursued a different direction with part of the 1031 funds, and Trevor remained supportive and helpful throughout the process. Trevor has been fantastic to work with. I reached out to him for help finding a multifamily in Jamaica Plain, and he immediately made time to connect and understand exactly what I was looking for. He quickly identified multiple on- and off-market opportunities for me to consider. We've now closed on a two-family in an excellent JP location. It needs a lot of work, and Trevor has continued to be incredibly helpful--connecting me with solid contractors and a knowledgeable local attorney. We found Trevor through a colleague, who had a great experience with him. Trevor was very detailed and thoughtful, and took the time to understand our unique scenario, which involved a 1031 exchange.  The list of homes he showed us fit all of our hopes/requirements, so we were able to narrow down to the ideal property very quickly and close the transaction in a timely manner. Trevor was easy to work with, responsive, and thorough.  We would love to work with him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone looking for a home in the Boston area. read more

We connected with Trevor regarding our home search in Jamaica Plain and Brookline about a year and a half/2 years ago. He showed us a few things available on the market at that time, but then we paused to consider our wider life plan options. Trevor followed up steadily, without being pushy, always patient and generous with his time and information, and ensured we were informed about homes coming on the market and others that were off-market. We continued to look casually for a year before diving back in and seeing homes seriously. When we finally found the one, Trevor was ready with strategy and a great team around him. We won in a competitive scenario where there were two other offers. Trevor helped us craft an offer just slightly above the next best offer. He had a great inspector recommendation and an attorney who helped guide us through the deal. We will definitely recommend Trevor to our friends and colleagues. He is a consistent communicator, knowledgeable about the Boston, MA market, and easy to work with! Really a wonderful person and great at what he does! read more

We are happy to share our experience working with Trevor! We were initially connected with Trevor through Zillow and were impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism throughout. Trevor arranged two viewings for us prior to our finding our home in Concord and, once we did so, helped us facilitate the negotiation and buying project. He was quick to respond and very communicative throughout the process. He provided us with good insight into the market and helped us negotiate $35,000 off of the asking price and a longer closing timeline. He also connected us with a number of contacts - a real estate attorney, home inspector, and attorney who were very helpful in our buying process. We will happily recommend him to friends, family, and colleagues in the future. read more

My partner and I were so lucky to have connected with Trevor as our buyer's agent. As first time homebuyers, we wanted to find someone who was honest, kind and kept our best interests at heart, and Trevor definitely fit the bill. When we started visiting home together, Trevor was very knowledgable with regards to evaluating renovation potential and helped us nail down which neighborhood and type of home we ultimately wanted to live in. Trevor also had a fantastic network of people he works with and put us in touch with a great home inspector and attorney to help us through the home buying process. What we most appreciated about Trevor was his reachability and flexibility. Whenever we had questions, Trevor was always incredibly prompt in answering them over text or call. Even when plans changed during our house visits and closing, Trevor was accommodating and made sure he made it to our meetings. Trevor was a joy to work with and we highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home in the Boston area! read more

My partner and I worked with Trevor to upsize from our 1+ bed, 1 bath condo in Beacon Hill to a single family home in Somerville. Trevor spent the time understanding what we were looking for and began hunting on and off market for us. Trevor provided sage guidance in a 10 offer frenzy for a single family home in Cambridge which sold hundreds of thousands over asking. He kept us competitive when it made sense and also helped us avoid getting carried away. Trevor quickly got back to work and found an off market single family in Somerville that was recently built and ended up being a great fit. He recommended a fantastic attorney and inspector that made the transaction seamless. We recommend Trevor to anyone looking to buy or sell in Greater Boston! read more

My partner and I worked with Trevor to sell our condo in Beacon Hill as we relocated to Somerville, MA. He and his team were relentless if showing the property and hosted open houses nearly every weekend for the entire time that the unit was listed. They sent updates each weekend with traffic and potential buyer interest. He was very helpful in navigating a highly uncertain market and marketing our very unique condo. He was highly communicative throughout the process and ultimately negotiated a favorable contract that was below the list price but had waived inspection and financing contingencies. The process was seamless and the legal team he recommended was excellent. Trevor is professional, easy to work with, and relentless in pursuit of results for his clients. After more than 2 years of searching for a new home in the suburbs, we were not satisfied with the services we received from another agent. A friend recommended we try Trevor Wissink-Adams. It was the best advice we received! Trevor was on top of it from the beginning- scheduling a call with us to understand our needs and then he immediately got to work by sending us a list of properties. He also worked to send direct mailings to over 50 homes of interest, and one potential seller even called him back! Within a month of working with Trevor, we were able to get an offer accepted in a coveted neighborhood, for 25k less than we were willing to pay for it!! Highly recommend Trevor and his A+ team to anyone looking for a home in Greater Boston. read more

Trevor was a joy to work with! I cannot recommend him highly enough. My partner and I were first time homebuyers, and Trevor brought an amazing mix of knowledge and humility that helped guide us through the process without feeling like we were asking "dumb questions". One thing that particularly stands out with Trevor is that he really took time to understand our requirements before kicking off the search. And he wasn't afraid to voice opinions that were sometimes contrary to our own. In that way, I felt he was invested in helping us find the right home, not just chasing a sale. Trevor really impressed with his knowledge of the neighborhood we were looking to buy in. Once he had our requirements in hand, he immediately began suggesting visiting properties we were already interested in - it was like he was reading our minds. It's a shame that there are only 5 stars to give, because Trevor delivered a six-star performance. We will work with him again the next time we purchase in Boston. read more

Trevor helped us to sell our 2+ bed 1 bath condo in the South End neighborhood of Boston. We've known Trevor for a number of years and have seen how professional and diligent he is in marketing homes and driving results for his sellers. We also worked with him to identify and purchase a single family home in the South End and he helped us to execute a completely seamless process. In a tricky market in the spring of 2024 with high interest rates, Trevor exposed our condo to over 20+ parties of potential buyers and ultimately secured an offer above the asking price with no contingencies. We couldn't have been happier with the result and the process overall. If you're looking to sell your home in Boston, MA, Trevor leaves no stone unturned! read more

Trevor was the listing agent on a property I was interested in, and after some research we decided to work with him to find our new home in Boston. He knew the market very well and was able to immediately connect us with a few opportunities at our price point. We were searching from Miami and when we came to town he had lined up a number of showings. He worked with us to negotiate an offer on new construction and conducted the punch list inspection on our behalf and also connected us with a great lender. His insight helped us navigate the local market and understand the pros and cons of each location, amenities, and even the reputation/quality of specific buildings and developers. We appreciated his professionalism, diligence, and constant communication since we were out of state for this purchase. We highly recommend working with Trevor! read more

We hired Trevor Wissink-Adams to help us in our search for a single family home. As my wife and I decided to sell our condo in Jamaica Plain, we decided to hire Trevor Wissink-Adams as he has deep local knowledge of the area. And he delivered! In the first 10 days on the market we had a cash offer just above the list price. He was able to coordinate this with the closing on our next home which made it a fairly seamless move. If you're looking for someone honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and kind - hire TWA! read more

I connected with Trevor initially regarding properties in the Seaport and South End. I could immediately tell that he was very professional, but also very knowledgeable about the Boston real estate market. We toured a few condo units and submitted offers as well - a few below the list price that were not ultimately accepted. We continued the search and ultimately found a great new construction condo in the South End with great square footage, parking, and in an awesome location. My husband and I were looking to upsize in Needham and we connected with him to see a few single family homes. Trevor was very professional and always on top of things.  We worked together for a few months before identifying a home that we were excited about putting an offer in on - unfortunately, there were six other buyers with the same idea.  Trevor helped us to navigate a very competitive Needham landscape, arranging for a pre offer inspection, and crafting a winning offer that was ultimately not even the highest price.  AND, the home appraised above our purchase price.  He really did a fabulous job. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell in Greater Boston.  He has a great team of inspectors and attorneys surrounding him, and strong industry relationships with other brokers as well. read more

When we found the place we did want to buy -- which unfortunately several other parties wanted to buy as well -- we asked him to represent us . . . and his knowledge of what steps to take to give us the best chance of winning the bidding war was *crucial.* We're confident we won our place because Trevor guided us on what steps to take to make our bid the most attractive. As a first-time home buyer, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I knew the process would be overwhelming and frustrating. From the second I spoke to Steph over the phone, she made me feel calm, and assured me that she would be with me every step of the way. Once I met Steph in person at a showing, she walked me through the unit and we spoke about what I was looking for in an apartment. Steph made sure to listen to me and understand my needs/wants and even gave me personal tips about her experience living in the South End, which was where I was looking to purchase. If you are looking to work with someone who has personally lived in the south end, understands the market and her clients, and will do whatever it takes to ensure you find your dream home, look no further. I would HIGHLY recommend working with Steph Crawford - I could not have done any of this without her! read more

Trevor is the best realtor we've ever worked with. He a great example of why you still need a realtor despite all of the information available online. Our search for a new home started in Jamaica Plain. Trevor showed us 3-4 homes in a day, a few of which were either off market or going to be coming to the market soon. Nothing was quite right - either in terms of condition, space, or price. We checked out a few homes in West Roxbury as well and started to fall in love with something that needed quite a bit of work. Trevor helped us to negotiate $50,000 off of the final list price, which was $150,000 off of the initial list price. And then following inspection got another $20,000 paid by the seller toward our closing costs. Everyone Trevor recommended throughout the process was responsive, thorough, and professional. If you're looking for someone who will negotiate in your best interest, is knowledgeable about the local market, and is easy to work with - Trevor is your guy! read more

We connected with Trevor on our search for a new home in Brookline, MA and could immediately tell that he knew that marketplace and also was able to help us evaluate different opportunities. We had to compete with one other offer, but thanks to Trevor's deep understanding of the process, and his help with preparing the offer, ours was accepted. He is available at any time that we approach him, and helps with any request/question we have and goes above and beyond to help us! His team is amazing! Looking for a home in JP and Roslindale was competitive and at times a discouraging experience. I'm a non-profit professional buying as a single individual, thus not rolling in cash to throw at a down payment and immediately convince a seller that my offer will go through to closing. I'm also a first-time homebuyer! I searched for about 5 months and made 5 offers before having one accepted. Trevor was with me every step of the way, helping me figure out everything from what factors I valued most in a property and which I could bend on, to what level of risk I was comfortable taking to make my offers competitive. When my offer for a recently renovated condo in Roslindale Village was accepted, Trevor was quick with follow-up and helping me understand the many next steps. He was in frequent touch with the other agent, who he was already connected to through other recent transactions. Trevor and his team provided resources and referrals to help me find a great inspector, attorney, and lender, based on their team's many connections and years of experience working with other local professionals in the real estate world. Beyond Trevor's direct support for my homebuying process, one other piece I value is his commitment to giving back to the community he works in. With every sale, he donates a percentage of his commission to the non-profit organization of his client's choice. I would recommend working with Trevor to anyone looking for a thorough, understanding, and community-minded agent! read more
