I was like wait wait ummm can we just get a cast... lol and it seems that my bone was broken in 4 pieces and needed screws also. Everything happened so fast that that same day I had a surgery appointment at JFK North for the following week. His surgery coordinator was communicating with me the whole time to make sure we got everything prior to the surgery. The day of surgery he explained the process again and what he was going to do. After the surgery was done Dr. Hartstein called to make sure I was ok and answer any questions for my recovery. I am thankful for the whole staff that made this process "easy" I definitely recommend this practice for any foot related issues.

What wasn't very good? Not one staff member had the common sense to acknowledge the long wait. All they had to say is something along the lines of "we are running behind" or "thank you for your patience", anything would have been acceptable. What wasn't acceptable is that they didn't acknowledge the situation. I have a follow-up appointment set for next month. I plan on keeping my appointment. Everyone deserves a second chance and it's not always easy to find a good specialist. I will update my review after next months appointment.
