Ada Judo Club is led by Sensei's Tony Mondejar and Jerome Snider. Both of these men are extremely kind and humble, a rare trait among the martial arts community to be sure. They are both strong and devout men of faith as well.
Mondejar is a 9th degree black belt, 6x National Phillippine Champion, and a 4x Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee.
Snider is a 6th degree black belt, former airborne ranger, and a Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee.
Both teach in a very humble and family-friendly manner. Though they will teach you to be a very technically proficient judoka, they will also teach and model high moral character. You will absolutely NEVER hear cursing in the dojo. You will NEVER see two people lose their cool and go to fighting on the mat. You will NEVER hear someone being belittled or ridiculed.
I have been involved in martial arts for more than 20 years now, and I have never seen a place like this. I'm extremely blessed to be learning under these men. The Ada Judo Club is a rare treasure of the Ada community. read more
