To see this place classified as "Fast Food" here on Yelp makes me sad, because this isn't Quick Burger. AT ALL. My father had the steak au poivre and I had the veal stew. Both were excellent, and the portions were huge. The value for the money is excellent. What really earned this 5-star review, though, was the creme brulee, which stands out as the greatest single example of the dish I've ever had in my life, ever, bar none. Period. It was the best. I still dream about it, and part of the reason for my review here is so I can adequately bookmark this restaurant, so the next time I'm in Northern France I will happily drive an hour or so out of my way to eat here. I had my first ever Gizzard Salad, as a starter, which was delicious. That was followed up by Calf Head. It was okay, but it could have been my mental state that hindered the taste. All this was followed by the best Crème Brûlée I've ever eaten. Truly smooth and yet tasty in the crunchy. The latest reviews of 6-9 years ago meant the establishment has stayed true to its past culinary variety and awesome taste.

We also got one with Ficelle Normande. This is a chicken dish with cheese. Again both dish is interesting to us for experience the fist dish in France. Overall service is good. Sitting on the edge of the River (Somme?) in the centre of Amiens and about 500 yards from the magnificent cathederal the location alone makes it worth visiting. Having said that I would eat here if it had none of those advantages. Not for the veggies but a must for the pork lover. House speciality is spit roasted milk fed pork and it is to die for, there are other things on the menu (salmon duck etc) but it is worth going for the plat de maison great starters and desserts with warm friendly service that is why I have been back several times. Amiens a great city and this restaurant makes it even more worth a visit try it and see for yourself!!!
