I gave up doing art work because of numbness, tingling, and nerve "jolts" running up and down my wrist/arm whenever using fine motor skills. I couldn't even write a grocery list without difficulty. After doing 3 rounds of physical therapy, numerous primary care visits, chiropractic, and seeing an ortho surgeon, I decided to give acupuncture a try. I did 6 treatments in about 2-1/2 weeks. While filling out the first visit form I was wondering what sticking needles into me would do, I thought about walking out. If I walked out I would have made a big mistake! Dr Luo reassured me that she could help me, I gave it a shot. What can I say, it worked the first time! It does not hurt and she placed those needles with such expertise and skill I was amazed! Normally when people have an ileus they go to the hospital get a naso gastric tube into the nose down to the stomach, I'm a nurse and did not want to go through that discomfort.
