I opted for the $69 special with aromatherapy foot bath, 30 minute pressure point foot massage and one hour body massage. My therapist was no nonsense, but friendly. I had pulled my neck/shoulder last week and we talked about the depth of pressure I was looking for. Amazing! I've had many many massages and this one was one of the best. I left feeling utterly relaxed and the tightness in my neck had melted away. Two days later I'm still pain free. She used a massage cream instead of oil, which is my preference and even used hot stones. Highly recommended, I will definitely return.

He educated me on how acupuncture and lifestyle adjustments can help but also urged me to work with a doctor since that may be part of the struggle. I worked with Jose and my fertility doctor - visiting Jose twice a week and my husband was also taking herbs as suggested by Jose. I enjoyed Jose and the sessions were enjoyable as well as relaxing. Jose always talked through any recent test results from my doctor as well as where I was in my cycle and how that impacted the treatment he was giving me. I went to Jose through my IVF cycle up until a few weeks after transfer and I am happily holding my 5 week old beautiful little girl right now. I called Jose and told him how miserable I was, and he fit me in that day. He gave me herbs which I took daily for about 4-5 weeks, and did double-sided acupuncture treatments two times per week to start. After just two doses of herbs I noticed an improvement, and with continued acupuncture, I had great relief from my symptoms. The stress and anxiety just disappeared, and the GI symptoms improved so much that I was able to work regularly and go out with friends again. I now see Jose once every two weeks for maintenance. Every time you meet with Jay for treatment he gives you the attention and thought needed to treat you for whatever may be going on physically/mentally/emotionally. Jay is always customizing the treatment and looking to make it as productive and healing as possible - which is why I always feel terrific after a treatment. Very clean & comfortable office. Very professional atmosphere and interaction with Jay. I live in the city where one can find a lot of acupuncturists but I travel up to Reading because of the high quality treatment and results. I was referred to him from a family member after my chiropractor retired. I had seen my chiropractor for almost 15 years. I am a nurse and have chronic neck and back issues. The intake process was pleasant and long. Received X-rays, which being in the medical field felt the machine was old and outdated. After waiting for over an hour talking with the intake staff I asked if I'd be seeing the doctor. They told me I would need to make another appointment. I was pretty frustrated and told them didn't realize I wouldn't actually be seen. At that point they were able to get me a few minutes with the doctor. Dr Martone was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. I specifically told him I did not want my neck manually manipulated. Which basically means him twisting my neck and cracking it, or adjusting it. I told him I had it done before and did not feel well after. In addition had taken care of a young woman who had manually manipulation done by a chiropractor and ended up with a carotid dissection and a massive stroke. Dr Martone assured me he would not do manual manipulation. He stood behind me and placed his hands on my head and neck and did exactly what I asked him not to do. I immediately felt sick to my stomach and asked why he did that. His reply was "well don't you feel better?" I did not. I promptly left the office and have not returned. As a nurse with more than 30 years of experience I was amazed at Dr. Martone's unprofessional behavior and arrogance. I honestly felt that the whole experience felt cult like in nature and really felt badly for the patients sitting in the waiting room. I have mentored and worked with hundreds of doctors in my career and to have someone lie to me and do something I asked not to be done to me only supports the uneasy feeling Dr Martone gave me. I would not recommend Dr Martone to others.
