We hired this company last year to insulate our home. They did a full attic tune up, installed…read moretheir polyshield everywhere, and did a number of non-insulation things to cut our bills, like lowering the temp on our water-heater, which wasn't appreciated. I'm seeing what a waste of money it was now because our house is still leaking heat, creating huge icicles all over and water damns that are leaking through the walls, the we're still the first on the street to have all the snow melted off our roof. It's exactly what I was seeing last year that led me to hire them. I feel like we were hoodwinked.

Julian, Tre and Mike were prompt, professional, cordial, communicative and efficient. They sealed up all the air leakage points in our attic, rerouted our bath fan vents for efficiency, improved our soffit baffles and raised our blown in insulation from R9 to R60. Our house is two degrees cooler already. They even found and fixed a gap in a flexible air duct we could not find that had been allowing birds to get into our ducts. They took before and after pics and sent them to us for our files, covered everything and left our house with no mess whatsoever.

Our third floor had been finished but not insulated, resulting in some very steep energy bills in the summer and winter, not to mention many sweaty/frigid days. Lewis was very patient with me as I explored my options, made some very helpful recommendations for other projects around the house, and provided the most reasonable price. He provided plenty of details about what his team would do without being overwhelming, and answered all questions I had. The team was in and out in less than a day, with very minimal modifications made (just a few access holes cut out), and were very professional in their work. Just with adding insulation on the 3rd floor, the entire house feels much more regulated temperature-wise, and I'm sure the energy bills will reflect the upgrades very soon. I will certainly be reaching out to them again for future insulation and energy-saving projects.

He was helpful in ideas for quick home fixes to making a list of problem areas to focus on. I was pleased with the whole experience. I wouldn't have realized energy audits were a thing until I spoke with a co-worker who recently had one conducted. I am glad I got one done on my home. Hopefully this will help save some money in the winter once I start getting some of these projects checked off the list. Thank you to Greene Solutions for your help getting me sorted out!
